If you're expecting it to be similar to Laneige, don't buy this. It has a much lighter texture, between a sorbet and Vaseline. While it's light enough to wear to bed, it's inconvenient to carry around and use on-the-go. For those of us with chronically chapped lips, we need something richer like Laneige that really works hard to hydrate.

I was so curious when I heard Daiso released a sleeping mask pack, so I had to buy it! The texture is somewhere between a sorbet and Vaseline - it's not sticky at all and feels light, like your lips are comfortable. There's a subtle citrus scent that isn't too overpowering, but I'm not sure if I'd call it yuzu exactly. It comes with a dual spatula, so you can apply it without getting it on your hands.

While it helps remove dead skin cells when I wipe off the lip mask in the morning, I don't think the hydration effect is that great. Even though I apply it religiously every single day, my lips still crack daily.

Unlike typical lip masks that noticeably soften dead skin cells on the lips, this product felt lighter than a lip balm, which was disappointing. The spatula was a bit small, causing the product to get on my hands. Even after tolerating the smell and leaving it on for about 30 minutes before wiping it off, its performance was not as good compared to other products.

The included spatula made it easy to apply the product to my lips. There was very little separation of the product, which was great.

Test it once before buying! Don't waste your money like I did... It's so itchy.

After using it, I woke up the next morning to find about 4-5 red spots on my lips, and it was really itchy, so I threw it away right away.

I bought it because it was good value for money. At first, it applied more smoothly than I expected and the scent wasn't bad...

Some might wonder where to store the lip brush. I keep mine attached to the cap. If you insert it properly, it fits perfectly!

There aren't many downsides, but I'm a bit clumsy, so when I open the cap, there's another cover inside that I keep dropping, causing the solution to spill. It's more of a personal issue than a product flaw.

I loved that it comes with a dedicated lip brush, so you don't get product on your hands. It also feels fresh and lightweight. There's no suffocating or sticky feeling like with Vaseline, which is great. The lip moisturizing effect is also good.
