Without fail, every time I use this primer, I end up with blemishes, even after thorough cleansing. It might just not suit my skin type, which is why I don't reach for it very often.

As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I have dry patches around my nose but an oily T-zone. In summer, I was concerned about uneven texture and excess oil on my nose bridge, so I decided to try this primer. I'm happy to say it works well! It's easy to apply - just a quick swipe does the trick. The portable size is convenient, and it gives a nice blurring effect too.

It might be a bit tricky to apply thoroughly around the sides of the nose or in the T-zone.

After my first purchase, I tried to retract the product and at some point it got stuck and wouldn't go back down. This caused the primer to get a bit squished when closing the lid. It's worth being careful about this. Also, if you already have a primer you probably don't need to buy this, but that doesn't mean it's not good!

It applies smoothly and evenly, making it easy to use. The cushion definitely has good staying power and controls oil production well. This would be great for those new to primers - an excellent entry-level product.

It doesn't seem to fully cover very deep pores. But this actually makes it look more natural, so it's both a drawback and an advantage!

1. Perfectly blocks excess sebum! I have extremely oily skin, and my T-zone would get incredibly shiny between 2-4 PM, looking like it had been dipped in oil. But using the About-turn Primer significantly reduced the oiliness. I can maintain a matte complexion even in the afternoon~~ 2. The pore coverage improves gradually and impressively! It applies thinly for a natural look, and the coverage is quite good.

The only downside I can think of is that the stick occasionally crumbles a bit during application, but that's really it...

I want to use it neatly, so I'm scooping out some Hwahae and spreading it with my hands!! I'm pressing it in as much as possible to fill the pores in a circular motion - it's great!

Since it is not a pumping-type or squeezable tube type, it seems like proper management of the stick surface that comes into contact with the skin is necessary. The skin should be clean before application, and the stick surface should be wiped clean after application to use it without any trouble!! To use it hygienically, you need to pay close attention, and the stick diameter is wider than expected, so it was difficult to apply to narrow areas!! For areas like the nostrils, I scooped out a small amount and rubbed it in with my fingers, and it worked very well in fulfilling the primer function~

Hwahae, you all are the best!! I've tried all kinds of primers that are said to be good for pores, from Banila**, Olive Young's Clio*, department store brand RM*, Benefit*, and Make*up** since I was 20 years old - silicone primers, gel types, balm types, oil-free drugstore brands, you name it! 

I've been using Amore*** primers all along, but this time I've found an amazing primer! It's the About Tone product that I previously raved about as an excellent pore-blurring powder foundation. But with silicone primers, if I don't apply them right, they clog my pores and cause breakouts! And balm-type primers that are too thick tend to dry out my skin, making my makeup look patchy and flaky - a real nightmare for my large porous skin. Gel-type primers with lots of moisture don't really show much difference on my large pores. So I've been on the hunt for a product that is lightweight, thin, non-drying, and silkily fills in my pores.

The Blur Lasting Stick Primer is a balm-type stick primer that glides on smoothly and lightly. I was worried that being a balm, it would dry out over time and accentuate my pores, but even by evening, my skin felt so comfortable 😍 Even with all the sweating, it didn't get cakey or slide off, and kept my sunscreen in place firmly. This is an amazing, game-changing primer that doesn't melt away in the hot, humid weather!After my skincare routine, I just glide the primer stick-like on my forehead, between my brows, the tip of my nose, cheeks, laugh lines, philtrum, and chin, and gently pat it in. I'm amazed that it doesn't feel drying at all! It's so lightweight, you'll be surprised. It fills in my pores, fine lines, and smoothens my skin texture, creating a flawless base. Even the quite dewy tone-up sunscreen, foundation, or cushion I apply on top don't slide off. My base makeup looks even more seamless without accentuating my large pores. 

Since I have extremely large pores, after finishing my makeup, I gently warmed up the stick primer and used a small brush to lightly dab it over the large pore areas - and the layering just blended in perfectly! On the days I use the About Tone primer, I don't even need to set it with powder, and my skin still looks great 😎 Even on a long, tiring day, I didn't experience any breakouts. The makeup also lasted incredibly well - it didn't get overly oily or break down, but rather wore down beautifully. This is a solid 5-star long-lasting primer!

I'd recommend this for summer when you're looking for long-lasting makeup and a matte finish.

As soon as it touches the skin, it leaves a slightly powdery finish, and I noticed it worked particularly well on areas with noticeable pores or texture issues. It smooths out the skin, allowing foundation or cushion to apply much more evenly, which is why I found myself reaching for it more often. The texture is lightweight and applies smoothly without clumping, adhering well to the skin. It also helps control oil, so using it mainly in the T-zone seems to improve makeup longevity. Here are the key points: It's hygienic and easy to use thanks to the stick format; it naturally covers pores and uneven texture; it provides good oil control, enhancing the lasting power of your base makeup; and it's nearly fragrance-free, making it suitable even for those with sensitive skin.
