The liquid tube format is great because it doesn't melt and get sticky like solid lip balms do. I apply it before makeup or before bed, and I'm always satisfied with how moisturizing it is. The silicone spreader at the tip makes application super smooth on the lips. I didn't realize it when I got it as a gift, but it's a bit pricey for the amount you get. It's a shame that the volume is so small for the regular price - it might not be worth buying at full cost.
