For those with super sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin, you might want to layer on extra hydration after using this cleanser to maintain your skin's oil and moisture balance.

You need to wet your face thoroughly and emulsify the product to really feel like it's cleansing. There's a bit of a lingering oily sensation? But since I always follow up with a second cleanse, I don't find it particularly bothersome.

I've been using this every evening, and it's surprisingly drying! However, since it's a tube-type balm, when you spread it and massage it into your face, it quickly transforms into something like a cleansing oil. The cleansing effectiveness is very good, which might be why I feel some deep dryness afterward!

Instead of squeezing out a lot, use a small amount and gently massage it on your face. Then, add a bit of water and massage thoroughly - it cleanses every nook and cranny effectively.

Controlling the amount can be tricky, and the quantity feels a bit limited. As mentioned in the pros, the emulsification process is longer. You need to repeat it 3-4 times to reduce the slippery feeling, but with the balm on your hands, it's challenging to create a good lather with a cleansing foam. This often leads to double cleansing.

Also, it feels a bit stiff before adding water! So you end up squeezing out more than needed.

While it seems there are more cons than pros, I still used it all up and repurchased it without hesitation.

The emulsification process is different from other oils and balms. It's a bit slicker and requires more time to rinse off. While some might find this bothersome, I actually liked this aspect. The longer emulsification process encourages a more thorough cleanse!

Moreover, oils and balms can easily cause blemishes if used incorrectly, but with this product, I experienced fewer breakouts! It's incredibly gentle on the skin.

I'm not sure if the product is particularly oil-rich, but it takes quite a bit of product to work up a good lather. That's my only complaint - otherwise, I'm completely satisfied.

As someone with extremely dry skin, I didn't feel any extra dryness after using this product. It's a game-changer! My waterproof eyeshadow, eyeliner, and mascara are all essential for my look, but this cleanser removes everything effortlessly.
