I think I bought it after seeing an Instagram ad. In this day and age when influencers only advertise and use mildly acidic foam cleansers, I decided to try using an alkaline one since they say that's what we should be using. I just tried it on a whim. But my skin feels so moisturized and thoroughly cleansed at the same time (I'm a guy). Compared to just using the slippery mildly acidic cleansers lately, this was a really refreshing experience. It didn't cause any dryness or tightness either. I wish I had tried it sooner. There's been no breakouts or irritation either. There's none at all! If there were... hmm, 20 characters seems a bit too long, haha. - ka*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 13, 2025
This is my first time trying an alkaline product recommended for oily skin, and it truly delivers the refreshing feeling as promised on the packaging. I used to use Sen* which cleanses well, but after switching to this, I've noticed a difference. While both are effective cleansers, Sen* felt a bit harsh, whereas this product seems to suit my skin better. I haven't experienced any blemishes yet, so there's nothing to complain about. The volume and design are all satisfactory. - me**********Dry SkinRecommendedApr 22, 2025
I bought this because I was looking for a mildly alkaline foam cleanser. It's said to care for both sebum and dead skin cells simultaneously, so my oily-skinned husband and I, with my dry skin, both use it. I only use it in the evening! It cleanses very thoroughly, so it's best suited for evening use The foam lathers up a lot, so it's good to use just a small amount and work it into a rich lather - ha******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 8, 2025
I bought this before and loved how gentle it was, so I purchased more for my parents too. Being an alkaline cleanser, it does leave the skin feeling a bit tight. - bu******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 31, 2025
The texture is delightfully rich and creamy, with a moderate foam. It's excellent at removing excess oil, making it a great choice for those with oily skin. While the consistency is thick, the dispenser opening feels a bit narrow. - 20*****Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 15, 2025
The squeaky-clean feeling is just right, leaving you with a perfectly cleansed sensation! It maintains hydration well, making it actually one of the best among mildly alkaline cleansers. No downsides to mention. - jp*****Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMar 12, 2025
I've been consistently using this cleansing foam since its initial release. It has excellent cleansing effectiveness, and among mildly alkaline cleansing foams, it doesn't leave my skin feeling too dry (though I do have oily skin!). With its dead skin cell removing ingredients, my skin feels incredibly smooth after washing! Due to the exfoliating ingredients, when I first used it during a period when my skin was extremely sensitive, I did experience some blemishes! However, once my skin adjusted, it was fine. - rl**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 27, 2025
It definitely cleanses thoroughly and feels great. On days when I wear heavy makeup, I use this product for double cleansing. Even though I have sensitive skin, it doesn't cause any issues and seems to cleanse really well. I'm very satisfied! Those with dry skin might feel a bit of tightness right after washing. Other than that, there's nothing to complain about. I highly recommend it for sensitive skin. For all my foam cleansers, I only use Make P:rem! After using a cleansing milk for the first step, following up with this cleanser leaves my skin feeling squeaky clean. - y2********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 25, 2025
I was worried it might be drying for my dry skin due to its mildly alkaline nature, but I was pleasantly surprised! It didn't dry out my skin or cause any tightness. The gentle ingredients seem to be non-irritating, and it lathers up nicely. It's pretty much perfect for me in every way, so I think this will become my go-to cleanser! Hmm... I haven't found any downsides yet, but I'll need to use it more to discover any potential drawbacks. - jj********Oily SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedFeb 10, 2025
For oily skin, an alkaline cleanser is a must. It's even better because it contains ingredients that help remove dead skin cells. The rich lather is great. My skincare expert told me that cleansing with abundant foam reduces friction and improves cleansing effectiveness. I wish it was more hydrating. After cleansing, my face feels too squeaky clean and tight. I can't use it daily, so I only use it about three times a week, and only in the evenings.
