Candid pairs well with Cha Cha Tint, which is my favorite tint. I bought it to use with Cha Cha Tint and I'm very satisfied. When I apply Cha Cha Tint first and then Candid on top, it improves the tint's longevity and the colors blend beautifully. While it's fine if a lip balm looks good on its own, I found it looks even prettier when applied over a tint.

I don't really have any complaints, but if I had to pick one thing, it's that the good pigmentation can be a drawback. I can't apply it around my mouth when my skin is dry. Once I absent-mindedly applied it all over without a mirror, and people looked at me like I was the Joker! Since then, I use a clear lip balm around my mouth when my skin is dry.

This is a rich, pigmented color lip balm. I just press it to my lips once or twice and swipe it on, and it applies a sheer tint true to the balm's color with a nice dewy finish. If you layer it, you can build up a glossy shine and more intense color (it feels like mixing a lipstick and lip balm). Personally, I have a higher body temperature and dislike color-changing lip balms that turn hot pink, but this product doesn't change much from its original shade and barely stains your lips pink at all.
