Besides the pink collagen beads, there are white granules that feel like sand. These don't dissolve when you rub them in, leaving a powdery residue on your face. I'm worried they might scratch my skin.

I stocked up on 3 of these because of the buzz around this Daiso product. It doesn't feel like a typical sunscreen - more like a regular serum texture. You can apply it with your hands without any greasy residue. It absorbs well, leaving skin hydrated, and makeup layers beautifully on top.

The capsules don't dissolve completely, leaving residue on the face. Sometimes they clog the opening, making it difficult to dispense the product.

In summer, you could probably apply this sunscreen over a light hydrating serum without any pilling. For spring, I've found it works well over a light soothing cream. It's quite versatile!

1) The tiny white particles in the capsules don't dissolve well when applied and rolled on the face. Even after makeup application, these white specks are visibly scattered on the skin. The particles are quite hard, requiring you to crush them individually for them to disappear. This obviously causes irritation to the skin. 2) Perhaps due to the capsules, the product clogged up after only 3-4 uses. It simply won't come out anymore. From the first use, it didn't dispense evenly, sometimes getting stuck and then suddenly bursting out, which was concerning. Now it's completely blocked. Even forcefully squeezing and tapping doesn't help. I might need to use a needle to unclog it. I have absolutely no intention of repurchasing this. Even if it were only $5, I'd rather spend a bit more on a different sunscreen.

I was intrigued by a YouTuber's claim that their makeup looked flawless with this product, so I decided to give it a try. However, it turned out to be quite disappointing. If I had to find a silver lining, the texture is lightweight, it doesn't leave a white cast, and the absorption is decent.

Applying this before makeup keeps your skin hydrated. Instead of swiping your cushion sideways, gently pat it on for a smooth, beautiful application without pilling.

It's great for applying on bare skin! You need to be careful with the amount you use to avoid a heavy feeling. If you apply too much, it feels thick and suffocating, like you've layered on too much cream.

Unfortunately, it causes severe pilling with makeup... It's like dead skin cells coming off. Apart from that, it would be great, but the pilling is so bad that it makes your base makeup disappear. (Around the time you're applying eyeshadow, it looks like your skin is flaking, and if you touch it lightly, it comes off like dirt...)

The application feels just like a regular serum! It's more hydrating than typical sunscreens. I love that it's incredibly moisturizing while still having a high SPF. Best of all, it didn't cause any blemishes!
