I've tried it with two foundations recently:

2. Hince Mesh Matte Cushion

I spent an entire day outdoors in the sun, from 7 AM to 9 PM. When I got home, there was minimal breakdown around my nose and mouth areas. My makeup stayed fresh and hydrated throughout the day.

For those who find matte cushions drying, you might be applying too much, pressing too hard, or using an incompatible sunscreen underneath.

Note: Hince shades run dark. Their 21 is more like a 23, so always go lighter than usual. I used shade 17 in the Neo Cushion.

Pro tip: If you end up with a slightly dark shade, use concealer to brighten specific areas.
