It applies with a cool, hydrating feel that's perfect for summer use. The scent is also very subtle. Personally, I find it a bit inconvenient to scoop out with a spatula. The sample came in a small tube container - I think it would be great if they could repackage the full-size product in a similar tube format.

It seems to work well as a daily moisturizer in this hot weather. I only apply it in the evening. With the current weather, I skip it in the morning and just use toner and essence. My T-zone is oily while the rest of my face is sensitive and dry. In this weather, applying a small amount at night works fine. If you apply too much, like a sleeping pack, it takes a while to absorb. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. For hot weather, keep it in the refrigerator for a cool, refreshing feel!

While it comes in a jar with a spoon, I found it a bit of a hassle to clean after daily use, which was the only downside. It applies with a nice moisturizing feel, but that's about it. I didn't really notice any other particular benefits. At first, there was no itching. While the deep dryness wasn't severe, I can't say it was completely absent either. More importantly, after applying it morning and evening, my skin texture became extremely rough. By the second day, I developed folliculitis all over, so I immediately stopped using it. At this point, I'm starting to think that maybe none of the isntree products suit my skin. The product absorbs well initially, but it seems to cause skin irritation and blemishes with continued use. This toner is my holy grail! It's incredible how it calms down blemishes and acne. The hydration is off the charts. I've never seen a toner with this texture before, which just shows how amazing it is. It's so hydrating that you need to keep the toner pad on your face for a while, but even that's a plus! After leaving the toner pad on for a while, I smooth out my skin texture, then reapply it and wait again. It absorbs well and has a light texture, which I loved for how it replenishes deep hydration. There wasn't anything disappointing about using this product. I think both the amount and packaging are just right. I think it would be great to tackle deep dryness with this, and then lock it in with a high-molecular weight cream on top.
