Highly recommended for those worried about chapped lips when wearing matte lipsticks in winter. 💗 Perfect oiliness: It's moisturizing and oily without being excessive, preventing lips from cracking in the harsh winter winds. I absolutely hate overly oily and sticky lip products, so I used to just endure cracked lips with matte lipsticks. But after buying this, I've seen the light! Now I can have beautiful, hydrated lips even in winter. 💗 Staying power: First off, it barely transfers onto masks. When I used to use Rom&nd lip balm, it would melt easily, transfer badly, and feel sticky, so I abandoned it after a few uses. This one, perhaps due to its higher price point, has much better staying power. You might need to reapply occasionally, but it's definitely better than other lip balms! Personally, I think it lasts even longer than YSL lip balms. 💗 Color: The color payoff is beautiful! I recommend it for cool summer tones. Personally, I wish it was a tad less vibrant (since I usually use it as a base lip color), but that slight vibrancy means it looks great even when worn alone! I usually apply this lip balm and then layer another lipstick on the inner part of my lips. While this other lipstick is normally completely transfer-proof and matte, when applied over this lip balm, it tends to transfer a bit onto my teeth. Make sure to check your teeth after application! I've been preventing teeth transfer by lightly biting a tissue after application. I tested this at the store and loved it so much I bought it right away. I highly recommend testing it in-store before purchasing!

The pigmentation is like a cherry tint, not too red but applies with a clear, fresh look. It has great hydration and is perfect for wearing in winter. However, the staying power isn't very long, so you need to reapply it frequently!
