  This is Colby, and I'm starting my review. 1. Before I begin: I've been using this product for a few weeks now. I purchased it when it was 50% off, at 13,000 won. I'll be sharing my honest thoughts based on this experience. 2. Calming effect: To be frank, I didn't have high expectations, but for this price point, I noticed a slight reduction in redness (I'm not saying pigmentation disappeared completely). After cleansing, my skin usually turns red, but applying this product helps calm it down a bit. It's not a dramatic effect, though, so I'd consider it a decent, everyday item. 3. Hydration: It's moisturizing without feeling greasy, which I really appreciate. This was actually one of the main things I liked about it.

  1. Residue: After the hydration is absorbed and evaporates, there's a peculiar, slightly unpleasant residue left behind. It's not exactly a heavy, greasy feeling, but there's definitely something lingering on the skin. I wish it could just provide pure hydration without this aftereffect. If it weren't for this issue, I'd give it a perfect score. Since this is something I personally dislike, I'm rating it as an average product.

Moisturizing Power & Feel: With its fragrance-free, dye-free, and low-irritation formula, I felt confident using it. Even on my sensitive skin, it caused no irritation or blemishes! Packaging Convenience: The tube packaging is hygienic and travel-friendly. It's practical to keep around the house for frequent use.

  Lack of Oil: For those with dry skin, the moisturizing effect might be insufficient, requiring additional hydration. Seasonal Limitation: In winter, using this product alone may not provide enough moisture.

  While it has a light, refreshing feel, if you want more hydration, try layering it with a hydrating serum or vitamin ampoule beforehand. This will double the moisturizing effect!

I always use two types of creams - one that's a hydrating moisturizer with minimal oil content, and another that's very rich in oils.   * Packaging The biggest advantage seems to be the packaging. Usually, this type of hydrating cream comes in a jar, which can be unhygienic. I used to buy separate airless pumps, but this squeeze tube format is so reassuring from a hygiene perspective. * Functionality Those with severe acne know that it's nearly impossible to 'eliminate' acne with these kinds of products. However, if you're looking to reduce facial heat and achieve a true 'calming' effect, this could be great. * Texture I already had a soothing moisturizer I liked, and this has a similar texture, so I had no issues with it. Oily skin types might be able to use this as their final step, but those with combination dehydrated skin, especially in fall and winter, should follow up with a richer formula to balance oil and moisture.

  This cream has more hydration than oil content, so in fall and winter, you might need to use it with other products to maintain a good oil and moisture balance.

  Tip

  I apply a cica serum (different brand) followed by this Cica Calming Water Gel Cream all over, then finish with a richer cream everywhere except the T-zone!
