The Gentle Gel Cleanser truly lives up to its name. It's an excellent product that I'm really enjoying. I can't think of any downsides. Even after continued use, I haven't found anything to complain about. - ki********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedOct 1, 2024
Hydration: 5/5 - With ingredients like hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid (moisturizer), actoIn (hydration provider), and hydroxypropyltrimonium hyaluronate (moisture-attracting), I expected a moisturizing feel, and the actual experience was incredibly hydrating! My skin felt so comfortable! Texture: 5/5 - This product has a gel-like consistency that transforms into foam when mixed with water. The foam is dense, making the cleansing process very comfortable! It rinses off quickly, allowing for a speedy cleanse. Deep dryness: 5/5 + extra star Thanks to its many moisturizing ingredients, there's no deep dryness even after some time post-cleansing. I'm extremely satisfied! Cleansing effectiveness: 2/5 - Looking at the ingredient list, I noticed this is a low pH product! (Products containing sodium~ and coco~ are typically low pH) While low pH foams are known for being gentle and comfortable, they often lack in cleansing power. I tried removing glitter (with average staying power) from my hand with this product, but it barely came off. Reviewer's skin type: Combination dehydrated skin with small bumps Recommended for: Dry, combination dehydrated, and combination skin types Tip: This product is recommended for morning cleansing! Due to its gel-like nature, it doesn't foam up easily. Using a bubble maker will help create rich lather. - wj*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedSep 12, 2024
First off, the ingredients are generally well-formulated, making it suitable even for sensitive skin. The hyaluronic acid component seems to help reduce dryness. Although it's a gel and you might think it won't lather, it actually produces a soft foam better than expected. After cleansing, there does seem to be a slight reduction in dryness. However, you should still apply moisturizer immediately after. As for whether it causes blemishes or not, I'll need to use it a bit longer to know for sure. The quantity is a bit on the smaller side, and it's only worth buying when it's on sale. The regular price is quite steep for everyday use.
