Holly Hyssop Serum 12 is a powerhouse serum containing 8% niacinamide, a vitamin A, C, E complex (12%), and ascorbic acid. It works hard to brighten your complexion, soothe the skin, and provide deep hydration. The hyssop extract strengthens your skin barrier and boosts elasticity, giving you a natural, healthy glow. Five peptides stimulate collagen production for lasting radiance. Additionally, rice extract naturally evens skin tone and helps minimize acne marks and pigmentation. For an intensive treatment, apply a thicker layer as a sleeping mask. The 8% niacinamide and 12% vitamin complex (including ascorbic acid) may cause irritation, redness, or a tingling sensation for those with super sensitive skin, especially if you're not accustomed to these active ingredients. Exercise caution if you have blemish-prone or reactive skin. For an extra boost, try applying a slightly thicker layer of Holly Hyssop Serum 12 at night. It helps brighten your complexion, provides deep hydration and elasticity, and aids in reducing signs of aging. When you want to wake up to glowing skin, make this your go-to product in your nightly skincare routine! - tk*********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 18, 2025
# Application: It has a slightly sticky gel-like texture. While it's not difficult to apply, it doesn't feel particularly pleasant. # Absorption: I received this as a sample. Another product from the same line absorbed well, but it caused a sudden warming sensation that subsided after absorption. This one doesn't cause any tingling, but its absorption doesn't seem to be particularly good. The reason I don't recommend it is, as mentioned above, due to its poor absorption. I only used a sample, so I'm not sure how it would perform with consistent use, but the absorption is terrible to begin with. - so*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessJan 3, 2025
The official website states it's a serum that can be used daily, both morning and night. It's described as a refreshing liquid serum type. When used alone, it doesn't absorb completely, leaving a sticky and oily residue on the skin surface. This made my hair stick to my face and cling to my pillow, which was uncomfortable. The niacinamide left a distinct residual feeling, making my hands feel dry and grimy, as if I'd touched metal. I only used it before applying a gel mask, not on its own, but I didn't notice any significant improvement in my skin condition. I usually use Layer Lab's Niosome Panthenol 5% Serum before gel masks, which is much more effective. This product didn't show any noticeable results, and I disliked how it felt on my skin, so I didn't repurchase it. Although it claims to be suitable for sensitive skin, I couldn't find any test results confirming this. When I used this product without a gel mask, I experienced bumpy texture on my T-zone and forehead, along with redness in the T-zone. I didn't notice these symptoms when used with a gel mask, but they appeared when I used the serum alone. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this for super sensitive skin. - di******Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 11, 2024
When applied to the face, the texture flows nicely, making it easy to spread. As time passes, it leaves a pleasant moisturizing effect on the skin. I was impressed by how well it maintained hydration! The texture wasn't as watery as I expected when applying. Instead, it felt rather oily, which wasn't the deeply hydrating serum I had in mind. It also didn't absorb as quickly as I thought it would. The slightly sticky feeling makes it less suitable for a light application.
