Pros

My skin type: oily, acne-prone, with excessive sebum production, numerous blackheads, and acne scars. To be honest, I use it without a spatula, just rolling it directly. I didn't really care much about it before, but it's actually quite convenient. It's hygienic and the amount is easy to control once you get used to it. No water is needed, the cleansing power is decent, and the uneven texture seems to have improved. Since it contains ground green beans, it provides a scrubbing effect, making me feel like my dead skin cells are being removed. Even after makeup, the cleansing power was satisfactory, and my eyes didn't sting. There was also no tightness after cleansing.

Cons

Compared to other cleansing balms, I didn't feel that it effectively removed blackheads. The formula became thick and sticky during the emulsification process, which I think will be divisive (I personally dislike it). Because of this, even after rinsing it off, I often felt like something was left behind, so I always did a second cleansing. I'm not sure why, but I developed some small pimples after using it. I'm not sure if this is a defect, but it felt a bit sticky and difficult to use when massaging it in. It doesn't sting the eyes, but it does leave a whitish cast. And compared to other brands, it seems a bit overpriced.

Tip

You should definitely go through the Hwahae process. Troubles are bound to happen. It seems like just scribbling a bit is good enough. Just about that much.
