Since it's meant to be washed off after 5 minutes, if you leave it on longer, you need to dampen it and gently massage before rinsing (it dries out if left for more than 5 minutes).

I tried a sample first, and as someone with dry and super sensitive skin, I usually can't use scrubs with granules (my face reacts badly). When I first applied it, I was surprised to feel the particles... but there was absolutely no irritation! In fact, my skin felt even softer than after a regular cleanse. (The difference in how my skin feels when applying toner is remarkable!) I'm amazed that it doesn't irritate even sensitive skin - I'm very satisfied!

While it's great as a mask, the packaging is a bit inconvenient for a scrub. That's why I only use it once a week!

Highly recommend the stone bean scrub pack! It's an exfoliator that's gentler on the skin. I use it during my shower routine: hair, stone bean pack, body, then face cleansing. I apply the pack, wait 5 minutes, then gently massage it off. My face feels incredibly smooth! Unlike other exfoliators, it doesn't pill or feel like you're rubbing off dead skin. The 5-minute wait time not only exfoliates but also acts like a mask, so I think it's really improving my skin. Plus, you get a generous amount of product!

I bought this because it was advertised to help with blackheads, but it didn't really make much difference there. It was good for managing dead skin cells though. It's a bit disappointing that it comes in a jar - if it were in a tube, the consistency would make it hard to squeeze out, so I guess the jar is unavoidable.
