Usually, contouring products have a strange reddish-brown tint or a concrete-like color, but this one is a perfect blend of gray and brown, which is fantastic. I must have dropped it at least ten times, but it's never broken! Plus, it's so convenient to carry around. There wasn't really anything disappointing about it, but it would have been even better if it came with a mirror! - md********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 5, 2025
It's absolutely amazing! The look is incredibly natural and the staying power is phenomenal. It seems to be quite fragile. I accidentally dropped it once, and it shattered, so I had to throw it away... - th******Dry SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 27, 2025
I often do nose contouring more than jaw contouring, so I bought this for nose shading. The application is incredibly smooth, and there's hardly any excess powder. The complimentary brush is super soft and high-quality too. I'll use it beautifully! It's truly a shadow color, haha. It has a lot of gray undertones! (More natural gray than Bbia No. 2 Modern) If there's one downside, it's that it's quite light, so you need to apply multiple layers. However, this might actually be a plus for beginners as it makes it easier to control the amount! - jo*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedApr 16, 2025
Though it's a shading product, it's incredibly versatile. The color doesn't have any redness, making it perfect for creating a natural shadow effect as an eyeshadow. I love how smoothly it applies and how softly it shows up on the skin. Depending on the brush you use, you might experience some excess powder fallout, though it's not always an issue. - yu*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 3, 2025
The compact size and lightweight design make it incredibly convenient to carry around! The color payoff is on the subtle side, and the shades are natural-looking. This product seems perfect for those new to contouring, allowing them to experiment without feeling overwhelmed. While it's somewhat unavoidable with this type of formula, there is a bit of excess powder that can be slightly disappointing. I always use the contour powder to lightly brush over my eyebrows, which helps manage any oiliness and smooths out the texture before I apply my brow makeup! - le***********Combination SkinRecommendedMar 27, 2025
✓ Allows for natural shading, making it easy for beginners to use. ✓ Divided into three colors, enabling blending to match your complexion! ✓ The soft application and low-powder formula ensure excellent adherence. ✓ Versatile - can be used not only for the nose but also for hairline and jawline contouring. ✓ The staying power is slightly disappointing, so it's best to use with a fixer for longer-lasting results. ✓ Start with the light shade as a base, then mix the medium and dark shades for a natural contour. ✓ Apply a touch to the eye socket for a deeper, more dimensional eye look. ✓ The key is to layer multiple times without clumping to achieve your desired shading. - hi******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 28, 2025
It's great for nose contouring. The subtle shade creates a shadow-like effect. The light pigmentation makes it perfect for beginners. I didn't find anything disappointing. While the light pigmentation might limit its use to just the nose area, that's not really a drawback since it's specifically designed for nose contouring. - ye*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedFeb 19, 2025
It's easy to use and the compact size makes it convenient to carry around. I didn't find the color payoff to be particularly intense. It's just okay to use. Personally, I felt stick-type contouring products work better. - fm**********Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 14, 2025
While the color payoff isn't intense, this actually works in its favor. As you gradually build it up, it creates a natural-looking shadow effect. Some might find the subtle color payoff a drawback. Personally, I didn't notice any significant cons, but I'm mentioning this to meet the minimum character requirement. As with most powder products, it's best to apply this after removing excess oil from your skin. When applied to a less oily surface, it creates a more 'watercolor-like' effect. - 64*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 11, 2025
The color payoff is excellent. Since it's specifically designed for nose contouring, the ashy tone comes through beautifully. I've always been disappointed when nose contouring because the shading color and my actual nose color seemed disconnected, but this product blends seamlessly with my skin. Plus, it's divided into three shades, allowing you to choose colors for different areas, which makes it look even more natural. As expected from the nationally beloved Too Cool For School brand, the product quality is outstanding. There's minimal excess powder and the pigmentation is gorgeous. The second and third shades also work well as eyeshadows for a natural shadowing effect. Being designed for nose contouring, its compact size makes it perfect for carrying in your purse or pocket without taking up much space. Color breakdown: 1st shade: A light, predominantly ashy tone 2nd shade: A natural brown with a slight ashy undertone, no redness 3rd shade: A brown with more ash than the 2nd shade and a hint of red If your skin tone is shade 23 or darker, you won't be able to use the first color as it's too light. However, those with shade 22 or lighter can use all three colors effectively. For the most natural look, sweep the brush from right to left on the shading product, then apply from the tip of your nose to the middle. Use the remaining product to blend towards the area between your eyebrows.
