It absorbs really well, and there's plenty in the tube so you can even split it into two uses. I was amazed at how well my makeup went on the next day after applying it the night before - my skin just drank it up! There wasn't anything I disliked about it. The only slight inconvenience was having to squeeze it out to use. - t0****Dry SkinRecommendedJun 17, 2025
I never imagined I'd find my holy grail skincare product at Daiso. As a woman with extremely dry skin, even in summer I'd pile on thick layers of base makeup. But after laughing heartily, my face would turn into a desert - cracked and parched like drought-stricken fields, with fine lines becoming more prominent. It was truly disheartening. I contemplated using face oils, but in this summer humidity, I really didn't want to. Then I saw a video on Reels about how EGF is great for fine lines. As I searched for products, I realized I didn't want to splurge on something that might not even work for me. But then I heard about a stick version at Daiso. I thought, "Why not give it a try? It's only $3." Oh my goodness, the moment I applied it, I saw a plump, bouncy face I'd never seen before. Now I'm stockpiling it every chance I get, wanting to apply it three times a day. I just wish they'd release a full-size version. It's a bit tedious to keep buying, opening, and discarding the stick format. VT Cosmetics, please keep the price friendly! Why can't I use the full-size product? Why am I denied happiness? When I apply it generously in the evening, I wake up to a plump, bouncy face in the morning. - ri*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 9, 2025
It's a milky white essence. Even though I have sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. It's a shame there's one ingredient to be cautious about. If you apply too much, it can cause a tingling sensation. Since it seems to absorb less effectively, it's best to apply it in thin layers, building up gradually. - db********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 2, 2025
This essence has a viscous, flowing texture. The quantity is more than a single-use packet, so you could probably split it into 2-3 applications. It has a slightly sticky feel, which allows it to apply with a nice, elastic texture. It feels more rich than hydrating, so it would be beneficial to use after thoroughly moisturizing with other skincare products to boost hydration. I bought this thinking it was a Leedit shot + essence, but it seems to be just an essence. The sticky texture makes it a bit challenging to apply smoothly. It tends to feel quite rich on the skin. For combination dehydrated skin types, consider layering this essence with a hydrating toner to balance the oil and moisture. The sticky texture might work well for those looking to achieve that coveted "Inner Glow" effect, but those with super sensitive skin should patch test first to check for any potential irritation. - ll*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 27, 2025
Dewy, luminous, and gentle without drying out the skin. Absolutely recommended for those with dry skin types. This essence works wonders when applied after using Leegeehaam's Grow Shot, maximizing its effectiveness. Not recommended for oily skin types due to its rich texture, which might feel heavy. It's amazing to apply this EGF essence after using Grow Shot 100! I implore those with dry skin to give this a try - you won't regret it! - j_*****Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 24, 2025
The formula has a thin essence-like texture that absorbs into the skin as if it's wrapping around it. It feels rich and deeply hydrating. I was particularly satisfied with how it worked when my skin wasn't in the best condition or was irritated. Applying it before bed left my skin feeling soothed without any deep dryness the next morning. Perhaps due to the EGF ingredient, I noticed a subtle glow, and even a slight fading of blemish marks. It's gentle enough that even those with super sensitive skin should be able to use it without worry. For reference, I have oily skin, but I didn't experience any breakouts while using this product. There's not really anything to complain about... If I had to pick something, maybe it feels a bit heavy? But that's because it's so nourishing, so it's hard to even call that a drawback. The product seems to work hard to improve overall skin health, addressing issues like irritation, blemishes, and dryness. It's particularly beneficial for those with sensitive or troubled skin, providing a soothing and nourishing effect without causing additional problems. The essence-like texture allows for easy absorption, making it a versatile addition to various skincare routines. - ah******Dry SkinRecommendedMay 19, 2025
I like this. It seems to have some oil content, but it's not heavy. My skin feels incredibly soft. I've been using Riedel Shot only, but I bought this from Daiso and apply it the night before an important day. It seems there are no Riddles. You can just think of it as an essence-type nourishing cream. Apply the Liddell shot first, and then this one seems to be absorbed well. - gk*******Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 6, 2025
This EGF product is a game-changer compared to other Leedle Shot products (like peptide, glutathione, or collagen), which felt like just another essence for oily skin. It's milky and rich, but doesn't sit on top of the skin. For my oily complexion, even in winter, applying just toner and this is enough. It absorbs well, leaving my skin deeply hydrated until the next morning with a beautiful glow. Highly recommended for dry skin types, and even suitable for oily skin in colder months! However, I'm not sure if this actually contains microneedles. I didn't experience any irritation while using it. Products labeled with numbers like 50 or 100 usually cause a slight tingling sensation when applied, but those without such labels might not have many microneedles, if any at all... - yo******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 30, 2025
Among the series, this one has the most rich texture and is quite hydrating. As someone with dry skin, I loved the coated feeling it gave, but it might not be suitable for oily skin types. It leaves a dewy glow. I was impressed to find it still on my skin in the morning, making my face feel smooth during cleansing. I wish they hadn't included silica. It's disappointing that the peptide content is so low. The peptide effects will likely be minimal, and as for the silica... I wonder if it's really okay to use daily. I found that I didn't need to apply a cream after using this. It's quite substantial for an essence. - sa*******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 27, 2025
Compared to using Retinol alone, this product causes much less irritation. It does make me wonder how much Retinol is actually in it though. So I use this, then follow up with the 300 strength. After applying this product, I layer on a thick cream and top it off with a sheet mask before bed. The next morning, my skin has a beautiful glow and my deep dryness keeps improving! Being a Daiso product, it's very affordable and each packet contains enough for 2-3 uses. Honestly, I can't think of any downsides to this product!
