The unscented baby shampoo no longer left that baby-fresh smell in her hair, so I was on the hunt for a shampoo with a gentle fragrance to combat odors. That's when I won the chance to try the Goong Jung Bi Chaek Kids Shampoo through The Hwahae Testers program. The fragrance isn't overwhelming or irritating, but rather has that signature Goong Jung Bi Chaek lovable scent that just puts you in a good mood. Interestingly, while the scent isn't too strong, it doesn't linger on my child's hair after use. But does that mean her hair smells? Not at all! It effectively neutralizes both sweat and scalp odors. Moreover, as my daughter grows and her hair becomes longer and thicker, detangling was becoming a challenge. I had even bought a separate conditioner. However, this shampoo works well enough on its own!
ConsBased on my real experience using this product, I honestly can't think of any downsides!
TipIt's possible to use this shampoo alone without needing a separate conditioner!

My 4th-grade son and 2nd-grade daughter used it. Scent: It has a subtle floral fragrance. While I personally prefer unscented products, this shampoo's scent isn't overpowering. It actually helps neutralize my older child's scalp odor. Texture: It's slightly thinner than regular shampoo. However, a small amount produces rich lather, so it seems like it will last quite a while. Cleansing effectiveness: It rinses clean without any residue. Being a children's shampoo, it seems to rinse out faster than regular shampoos. Blemishes: Neither child experienced any blemishes. With its good ingredients, I wasn't worried about this aspect from the start. Other: I'm recommending it to others. As someone who's always trying different shampoos, this is my favorite among those I've used recently.
ConsThe scent doesn't last long, and after rinsing, the hair feels somewhat stiff (though it's fine once the hair is dry).
TipWhen the hair felt stiff after rinsing, I occasionally used a conditioner.

First off, my child is six years old, and until now, I've been using an all-in-one product to wash them from head to toe out of convenience. However, my child tends to sweat a lot, so even after a thorough wash, a sour smell would quickly return. ❤ Scent The Goong Jung Bi Cheok Silky Shampoo has a truly wonderful fragrance. Neither my child nor I like strong, artificial scents that can cause headaches, but this shampoo has a gentle yet refreshing aroma that our picky family absolutely adores. It's not a specific fruit or floral scent, but rather something familiar, invigorating, sweet, cozy, and cool all at once. What's more, the scent doesn't disappear quickly, but lingers subtly for a long time. My child loves how fragrant it is every time they use it! ❤ Texture It has a transparent, viscous texture. It's not runny like water, so even when my child squeezes it inexpertly, it doesn't splash and lands safely in their palm. The lather is also impressive - my child created it themselves (see photo), and it's incredibly rich and abundant. We're extremely satisfied. ❤ Packaging I particularly want to praise the packaging design. The pump, especially, is a work of art. It doesn't have that easily bouncing spring feeling, nor is it stiff and heavy. The resistance is just right. Also, my child is at an age where they love doing things independently, and with just one pump, the perfect amount comes out without any effort. Plus, the pump head is round and wide, so it doesn't hurt their hand. Personally, I appreciated how much thought seems to have gone into making it child-friendly.
ConsFrom a parent's perspective, there are no downsides, and when I asked my child who actually used it, they couldn't think of any either... haha! I wondered if it might be expensive, but when I checked, the price is quite reasonable too. We'll have to keep using it to know for sure, but there haven't been any blemishes or issues with use so far.
TipShall we call it a collaboration between a child-friendly pump and a formula that lathers well? Start your child's shampoo independence with this product!

The scent is lovely too! I'm a fan of these floral fragrances. The subtle aroma isn't overwhelming, making it suitable for children as well. Despite being subtle, the scent lingers nicely after washing.
ConsThe downside, which seems common with many high-quality ingredient shampoos, is that it initially feels a bit like washing with soap (though that's a bit of an exaggeration). So at first, my hair felt somewhat stiff. However, after using it for a while, it gets better. After all, it's made with good ingredients.

Hair texture: It doesn't tangle, and even with just shampoo, you can see the angel ring. The hair looks healthy. Scent: It's subtle and not artificial. It also eliminates any unpleasant hair odors. Lather: It foams up well even with a small amount. I plan to repurchase.
ConsWell, there's nothing particularly bad, but if I had to pick something, it would be the price and the fragrance.
TipWhen choosing shampoos for children, I'm sure many of you check the ingredients carefully. I recommend selecting a silicone-free shampoo that won't clog pores.

We liked the scent and how it made our hair soft, so we shared it. Then I happened to come across this kids' shampoo and decided to give it a try. 1. Scent As soon as I opened the box, I was greeted by a fresh, grassy aroma - which I love. It's not an overpowering or artificial scent, which is fantastic. The fragrance is truly refreshing and gets a thumbs up from the start! The subtle scent lingers pleasantly, even on my hands after washing. 2. Texture The texture seems similar to the teen shampoo we've been using. Rather than being thick and sticky like adult shampoos, it has a slightly more fluid consistency. 3. Lather When you work it in, it creates a rich, soft lather effortlessly. 4. Performance Kids usually don't use conditioner or treatment, just shampoo. This product alone leaves their hair feeling moisturized and silky smooth, which is great.
ConsI can't really think of any significant drawbacks while using this product.
TipSqueeze some into your hand, add a bit of water to create a lather, then shampoo as usual.

That's why I came to trust it, and I'd like to share my experience after using it. The cute character drawn on the bottle makes it visually appealing for both me and my child. I was satisfied that it doesn't have an artificial strong scent, leaving a subtle fragrance after washing. Most importantly, it's easy for my child to use the dispenser with one hand, making it possible to use even when washing alone. It lathers well, and when rinsing, it really feels squeaky clean. I felt like it washed off perfectly clean. If there's anything that might be slightly disappointing, it's that because it's a squeaky clean type, it might not suit those who prefer a softer feel. For children with long hair, it seems like a conditioner might be needed. However, those who use shampoo bars (squeaky clean type) will likely enjoy this! Overall, I was satisfied! After use, my child didn't complain about an itchy scalp, and I liked that the scent remained subtle. It seems to suit my child well, so I'm considering continuing to use it.
ConsThere's a slightly stiff feeling when washing, so for those with permed or long hair, using a conditioner might be a good idea. However, if you enjoy the feel of shampoo bars, this will likely suit you well!
TipAlthough it feels stiff when rinsing, it becomes soft after drying.

First off, it's gentle with no harmful ingredients, and the fragrance is pleasantly subtle, not overpowering. The shampoo lathers well, and being a silky formula, it doesn't tangle or leave hair stiff. Plus, it keeps my scalp odor-free, which I absolutely love!
ConsAs it's in a pump bottle, it's hard to use up the last bit when there's only a small amount left at the bottom. This is the same for other products in the Goongjungbicheop kids line too. The formula is quite runny, so sometimes more product comes out than expected. It would be great if they could release a larger size option as well.

The scent isn't too strong - it's not off-putting for the baby, just neutral. The cleansing effectiveness is impressive; it leaves the hair feeling squeaky clean. It rinses out easily too. The shampoo lathers up really well, so a little goes a long way. While the hair feels a bit stiff right after washing, it softens up as it dries. Overall, it's great for babies. I'm about 80% likely to repurchase.
ConsIt was fine for my baby with thin, short hair, even though it left it a bit stiff. However, for a 5-6 year old girl with more hair, you might need to use a conditioner along with this kids' shampoo.

The packaging is so adorable that my child couldn't wait to use it and kept asking to take a bath! I think it's the best-looking kids' product case I've seen so far. The price is reasonable, and I can't find any downsides. The scent isn't overpowering, just subtle and pleasant, making me want to keep sniffing my child's hair. As I have a daughter, her hair used to get tangled every morning when brushing, but now it's soft and flowing. This is truly a great advantage.
ConsIt lathers well, and I didn't find any drawbacks. The foam also flowed down nicely when used on the body. Judging by the lack of skin blemishes, the ingredients seem gentle too. I'm considering repurchasing.
