At first it feels sticky, but then it absorbs into the lips, leaving them soft. The color is absolutely gorgeous. I was a bit disappointed that the brown tone wasn't more pronounced, though. To be honest, I couldn't feel any plumping effect. I'm only using it because the color is pretty. - bv*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 13, 2025
I absolutely loved this lip oil when I first tried it - it's so beautiful! Even when my lips are dry, they become instantly moisturized and any dead skin cells are concealed. It's not sticky and has a sweet scent. There's also a cool sensation on the lips after application. I bought shades 4 and 7 together. The only downside was its lack of staying power. However, I found it works well when used as a lip balm. If you have a preferred lip color, using this lip oil as a base can really enhance the beauty of your lip shade. - ju*********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 5, 2025
I love that the tip is made of silicone, making it hygienic and easy to clean with a quick wipe using wet tissues. I highly recommend the Bitter Brown shade for warm-toned skin as a daily go-to. I also appreciated that it doesn't stain the lips. The staying power is quite poor compared to other water tints I've tried. However, for me, the pros outweigh this con. - ss*********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 19, 2024
- The color payoff is beautiful : The shades are not too vibrant but have a nice mood, making them easy to wear without feeling overwhelming - The applicator is inconvenient : It's weak and small, but the formula is heavy, making it difficult to spread evenly - The staying power is poor : Due to the nature of the formula, it transfers easily and doesn't last long - hj****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedDec 12, 2024
The color payoff is true to what you see, and even though it's a lip gloss formula, the pigmentation is excellent! In the dry winter months, layering it with a lip oil creates a honey-like glow, making it my go-to item these days. While it's marketed as a plumping lip oil, the plumping effect is rather subtle. If you're looking for a product focused on intense plumping, you might be disappointed. However, if you want a plumper with good color payoff, this could work well for you. The muted shades make it perfect as a base lip color. You can then apply a bolder lip color to the inner part of your lips for a beautiful gradient effect! - tw*******Combination SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessRecommendedNov 28, 2024
The texture is more fluid than a honey-like lip oil, so it doesn't feel sticky. When applied, it gives a refreshing sensation. The scent is also pleasant, reminiscent of cherry candy! It doesn't create a plumping effect to the point where your lips feel tingly. Due to its lip oil texture, it merely fills in the creases between lip lines, but doesn't actually make your lips appear fuller. If you're buying this expecting it to work as a tint, you might be disappointed. When applied to bare lips, the color doesn't show up as vividly as you might expect. However, if you're looking to add a glossy finish to your usual lipstick or water tint (in a similar shade), this could work well for you! - en*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 11, 2024
The color is perfect for a natural, bare-faced look. When applied, it gives a refreshing minty sensation and subtly plumps your lips. The applicator isn't the easiest to use. Being an oil-based product, it doesn't stain the lips, so it comes off completely when drinking. Instead of using the applicator, try applying it with a separate lip brush for even, streak-free coverage.
