It's not as vibrant as I expected, which makes it look more natural - perfect for everyday wear. The color is beautiful, and although shade 202 (red) isn't available, I love using this because it doesn't cause any dryness or flaking of dead skin cells. There's no irritation at all, making it a staple in my makeup routine. The color sets incredibly fast, so it can be a bit tricky to apply without a silicone tip brush. - ma*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 22, 2025

The color is absolutely gorgeous! I was worried it might be difficult to apply or only stain the inner lips since it's a water tint, but it applies beautifully and evenly. The pigmentation isn't too intense, making it perfect for those who find their lips look less flattering with darker shades. Highly recommended! (For reference, it's the top color in the photo) Due to the nature of water tints, it can be a bit drying, so pairing it with a moisturizing lip balm would be ideal. While I consider long-lasting wear to be the biggest advantage of water tints, this product doesn't have the longest staying power. The amount of product also seems a bit on the smaller side... For a beautiful finish, try layering it by applying, letting it absorb, and repeating a few times. Then top it off with a gloss! - bs*******Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 22, 2025
Long shelf life until 2027. Compact size makes it great for on-the-go. As a water tint, it has excellent staying power with slight staining. Less drying compared to regular water tints. Longevity: It remains even after daily activities and post-workout shower at the gym, which is expected for a water tint. The taste and scent are disappointing. When it accidentally gets in your mouth, it has a bitter taste. It seems they didn't add any artificial fragrance, but the natural smell is really unpleasant. A versatile shade that likely suits both warm and cool skin tones. Great as a base layer for long-lasting color. Recommend layering with lipstick or lip gloss over this. Good value when purchased as part of Rom&nd's first-time buyer promotion. - yh*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 11, 2025
Unlike older water tints that stained with a fluorescent effect, this one provides a subtle, natural color. It blends seamlessly even on bare skin. The applicator tip is on the thicker side, but once you get used to it, it's actually quite comfortable. I didn't experience much dryness either. The applicator tip is a bit thick compared to the opening, which makes it slightly awkward when opening and closing the product. - wq****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 27, 2025
Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint in Water Grape Review A drop of freshness, clear and translucent grape-hued lips! The Rom&nd Juicy Lasting Tint is a well-known product, and I had high expectations. The Water Grape shade, in particular, lives up to its 'water-soaked' description with its impressively clear and translucent grape color. It's absolutely perfect for cool tones and light undertones! It glides on smoothly, providing hydration to the lips (may vary by individual). A key feature is its non-sticky, bouncy shine that maintains a clear color even with multiple applications. Avoid rubbing lips together - gently spread with your fingers instead. True to its 'water-soaked grape' name, the clear and translucent grape hue creates a fresh and mysterious vibe. Ideal for cool tones with light undertones! Applying it gradually for a gradient effect looks absolutely stunning. You can adjust the color intensity by layering, making it versatile for both everyday looks and special occasion makeup. The staining power is moderate, and the bouncy gloss-like shine gradually fades over time. Key points: * Creates a fresh and mysterious atmosphere with its clear, translucent grape color. * The plump jelly texture provides moisture and a bouncy shine to the lips. * Applies lightly without stickiness and doesn't feel heavy even with multiple layers. * Highly versatile as color intensity can be adjusted by layering. As someone with a light undertone, this color was absolutely perfect for me. The beautiful color payoff has made it my new daily go-to. For those who find tints a bit drying on their own, topping it with a clear gloss or lip balm could make for a fresh and comfortable wear. The staining power isn't very strong, so the longevity might be disappointing for some. The bouncy gloss-like shine fades over time, so you might want to top it with a clear gloss for touch-ups. - kh********Oily SkinAcne SkinRednessRecommendedFeb 19, 2025
As someone with cool undertones, I found the color matched well. The staying power seemed pretty decent too! However, being a water tint, it dried quickly and left my lips feeling quite parched... - rl**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinJan 29, 2025
The color is perfect for those with cool undertones - it's so pretty! However, despite being called 'Grape', it actually shows up as a full-on pink shade on the lips. The color payoff is quite weak, and since it's a water tint, it tends to transfer onto teeth easily. What's particularly frustrating is that after application, it dries down to a very matte finish, similar to a matte lipstick. This unfortunately tends to accentuate dead skin cells on the lips. - si*************Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresOct 3, 2024
First off, many of you are probably familiar with Rom&nd's Bear Grape. This product has a similar 'water grape' shade that's pretty and wearable. While it's not a complete water-based formula, the color is beautiful. When used together with the tapping method, it creates an even more natural, dewy look. The container is chubby and compact, making it convenient to carry around. The applicator is quite challenging to use. It's too thick, causing the product to go outside the lip line. It doesn't absorb well either. It seems like using the original version might be more beneficial. However, if you still want to use this because of its pretty color, or if you've already purchased it, here's a tip: Apply some oil to a cotton swab, clean up your lip line, and then gently pat the product onto your lips. - ka***********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedSep 11, 2024
I used to love water tints, so I was excited to try Rom&nd's version. As soon as I applied it, I got that perfect watery feeling I was after. Unlike typical water tints that can be patchy and only stick to the bottom lip, this one evenly coats both upper and lower lips beautifully. After it absorbs, there's no sticky residue - my lips feel hydrated yet the product seems to disappear into the skin. I'm thrilled with it, and the natural shade works for all seasons. This might just become my holy grail lip product! There aren't many downsides, but the applicator tip is a bit thick, so some product can get caught around the bottle opening when you pull it out. It's slightly tricky to remove cleanly, so if you're particular about keeping the opening tidy, you'll need to be extra careful when taking the applicator in and out. It's a very natural MLBB (My Lips But Better) shade that builds up gradually as you layer it. This makes it perfect for creating a subtle lip look with a bare face, or you can apply more layers for a more intense color when you're wearing a full face of makeup.
