  Pros

  I'm in my 40s, and while my pores, texture, and blemishes aren't severe, my main concerns are dryness, fine lines, and an overall dull complexion. Pros: The Vanilla Ivory shade is supposed to be neutral, but it seems to have a brighter, slightly whiter tone. It really brings out the blue undertones in my skin. Using the provided brush, it applies very thinly and smoothly.

  1. Though it's described as neutral, the shade seems to have a whiter cast. Right after application, it looks bright, but over time it becomes patchy and darkens. 2. While I like how thinly and lightly it applies with the dedicated brush, it feels more powdery than adhering to the skin. It doesn't cover pores well around the nose area and tends to flake off. Also, when using a puff, it's hard to gauge how much product is picked up. I'm used to controlling the amount with cushions, but I'm not familiar with this balm texture. 3. It's supposed to give a glow, but I found it drying. There was also some tightness... 4. I rarely touch up my makeup except for lips, but when I got home in the evening, my skin tone looked patchy, and the lines around my mouth appeared much deeper. I wore makeup to cover these issues, but it seems to have emphasized my flaws instead. I'm wondering if I need to change my skincare routine or application method.
