It lathers up nicely, feels gentle on the skin, and comes in a generous size. I'm not sure if its cleansing effectiveness is all that impressive. You might need to double cleanse. - ru******Normal SkinSensitive SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 28, 2025
As a morning cleanser, this product contains enough ceramides to minimize damage to the skin barrier during cleansing. I'm really enjoying using it. The foam is rich, and it feels like I'm washing my face with a moisturizing cream. There's nothing disappointing about this product. I'm satisfied with everything except for the price. The cleanser works hard to protect the skin while effectively cleansing. It's particularly good for those with sensitive skin or combination dehydrated skin, as it helps maintain the oil and moisture balance. The rich foam suggests it has good cleansing effectiveness without causing irritation or deep dryness. - ki*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 3, 2025
I stock up on this when it's on sale. When my skin is feeling sensitive, using this cleanser really helps strengthen my skin barrier. Thanks to this product, I've been able to gradually introduce more active skincare into my routine. The price, unfortunately. It feels quite expensive to buy at full price, so I wait for sales. - ha********Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 1, 2025
I love how gentle and non-irritating it is for my morning cleanse! There's nothing to complain about! It's fantastic when you use the blue cleanser together in the evening routine. - ch******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 29, 2025
The cleansing effectiveness is gentle. It's mild and moisturizing enough to use for morning cleansing, which I really appreciated. For my oily skin, it removes just the right amount of excess oil. The price is a bit of a concern... The fact that buying this with the alkaline set costs around $50 at full price seems like a barrier to entry. - er*******Dry SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2025
It's great for morning use. I've never experienced any blemishes from it. Highly recommended for those with dry skin. There's nothing to complain about! I'm satisfied with all Layer Lab products. - kk*******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 14, 2025
I've been using this for about 6 months, and as someone with dry and super sensitive skin, I strongly recommend it. The quantity is generous, but most importantly, it's gentle and effectively removes makeup without the need for double cleansing. It's an all-in-one solution that works wonderfully. I'm definitely planning to repurchase. Fortunately, it didn't cause any blemishes, and I can't really think of any downsides. You only need to use a small amount, about half the size of a dime, to create a rich lather. This means the product lasts a long time. - in******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2025
This is the ultimate hydration-packed, mildly acidic foam cleanser. I alternate between Torriden and Layer Lab, but Layer Lab's foam feels a bit more dense. It's fragrance-free, gentle, and truly perfect for morning cleansing! Since I use a slightly alkaline foam in the evening, I don't really have any complaints. Maybe just that it's a bit pricey? I stock up when Layer Lab has a sale! When used in combination with a mildly alkaline cleanser in the evening, your skin will have a beautiful glow - te************Dry SkinSensitive SkinApr 3, 2025
There weren't any particularly positive aspects. I developed milia on my chin and experienced tightness around my eyes. I should have checked the Hwahae reviews. It contains ingredients that aren't suitable for sensitive skin. - fl*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 24, 2025
- Rich, creamy lather even with a small amount - Gentle enough to use even when skin is irritated and needs medication - No dryness after use - amazing hydration! Recommended more as a second-step cleanser in the evening rather than standalone use Being mildly acidic, it's not the best at removing excess oil And the price is a bit steep... As someone with combination skin that gets a bit oily in the morning, I use a foam net to create an even richer lather. Works hard for my skin!
