Having heard of the brand 'Biodance' and tried their mask pack recommended by a YouTuber, I decided to purchase a two-pack bundle at Costco. I'm really impressed! Upon research, I found that gel pads are said to help the skin absorb essence better than regular pads. I was satisfied that even after a while, the pads didn't dry out, preventing any feeling of tightness or dryness on my skin. The amount of essence on the pads was more than sufficient - it was so abundant it almost dripped, leaving my skin feeling deeply hydrated. Even without refrigeration, the pads felt cool on my super sensitive skin, providing excellent soothing effects. Using two sheets a day means I go through them quickly. The price is a bit steep. When using tweezers to pick them up, the edges can get a bit fuzzy. After cleansing, I place one pad on each cheek while I dry my hair or lie down for 5-10 minutes. By then, any redness in my cheeks has usually subsided. Not wanting to waste the remaining essence, I use the reverse side of the pads to wipe my entire face and even place them on my neck for about 5 minutes. - ss*******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedApr 30, 2025
The best part was the cooling effect, which was great for soothing and hydrating my skin! It worked wonders for dry skin and skin with a burning sensation! The unique fabric, possibly due to the gel coating, makes it uncomfortable to use with an exfoliating toner. When using it as a second step after cleansing, wiping along the skin texture, it falls short in terms of dead skin cells and sebum care. However, because it's a gel type, I found it excellent to use as a mask. I recommend using it as a mask rather than a pad. Five stars! - ci****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresApr 29, 2025
I bought these pads as soon as they came out, since their gel masks are so famous. The gel layer is so thin it's barely noticeable, and you have to remove them much quicker than regular toner pads. Once the gel disappears, the fibers from the pad can stick to your skin. From effectiveness to overall experience, everything about these is disappointing. - ss****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 25, 2025
I'm on my second bottle now. The concept of gel toner pads was refreshing, and I loved that they didn't feel abrasive on my skin. They helped reduce skin heat and provided an instant boost of hydration. If you have dry skin, leaving these on for too long might actually make your skin feel more dehydrated. - eu*****Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedApr 18, 2025
Skin type: Combination dehydrated, oily T-zone, acne-prone, enlarged pores 1. Pad format: As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm all for these gel pads! I've always worried about irritation when using other pads that weren't soaked enough, but with these, there's zero irritation. 2. Essence texture: The essence inside isn't just a toner, it's practically a serum! I thought it might be a bit sticky, but once it absorbs, your face is left hydrated and plump without any residue. It's amazing! 3. Skin texture: People with large pores and excess oil need to pack in the hydration. That's why you can instantly see your pores filled with moisture after using this pack. Just note that it's not a permanent effect! 4. Deep dryness: I tried this new product because of severe dehydration during the changing seasons. Usually, I wake up with that deep dry feeling, you know? But after using this pack at night, that feeling is gone in the morning! If there's a bit too much essence on the pad, it can slip down to your chin. I keep mine in the fridge! And for those who find it drips, try removing a bit of the essence from the pad first. - ou***************Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 14, 2025
The texture of these pads is quite unique - they're soft and bouncy like jelly, almost reminiscent of rice paper! The color is pretty too. I usually use them as part of my skincare routine before makeup, and they leave my skin feeling wonderfully hydrated and refreshed. These pads tend to slip around a bit more than others, probably due to their super soft texture. - lj***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinApr 4, 2025
I tried the mask and fell in love, so I bought it. Planning to use it daily with my galvanic device, as it's affordable. It's disappointing to call this a galvanic mask, and the material doesn't adhere thinly as it should. Instead of using this for galvanic treatments, it might be better to just use the original mask twice a week. - gr******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 29, 2025
It's really great for those times when you don't have time for a gel mask. It's incredibly gentle on the skin. I use it while drying my hair, but it dries out too quickly and turns into something like a regular white cotton pad, which is disappointing. - ny*****Dry SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2025
It didn't cause any blemishes and worked well! I highly recommend it for those with sensitive skin. The only downside seems to be the price. It's just too expensive, unfortunately. - ju********Oily SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresMar 24, 2025
It adheres well to the skin and provides excellent hydration. This essence is perfect for replenishing moisture without causing irritation. While suitable for use as a mask, it dries too quickly and leaves behind fibrous residue. Use it as a mask to give your skin a cooling effect, then follow up with a different pad for an exfoliating toner treatment.
