The formula is quite fluid, which makes it absorb well. I usually prep my skin with mist, emulsion, and cream before applying sunscreen. Compared to my usual sunscreens like Innisfree No Sebum and Dr. G Brightening Up, this one gives more of a radiant finish. It seems perfect for winter use. For me, it felt a bit too dewy in the current hot and humid weather. Those with dry skin might find it nicely hydrating. I'm looking forward to using it up completely - you can even tear the packaging to get every last drop. Oh, and I've included before, after, and comparison photos.
ConsIt might be a bit too hydrating for humid days. While the paper packaging is eco-friendly, it can feel flimsy, making it tricky to control the amount and giving a slight worry it might tear.
TipThis would feel wonderfully hydrating in dry winter weather! It applies smoothly even without extensive skincare prep, making it perfect for quick morning routines - just rub it between your hands and pat it on.

As shown in the photo, it's a tube-type container, but the material feels like thick paper with a slight coating. When you've nearly finished the product, you can tear it open to use every last bit. When disposing, you can clean it thoroughly and recycle it. Texture & Application: The emulsion has a runny consistency, making it easy to apply. After application, it feels like it's sitting on the skin rather than absorbing, but it doesn't feel heavy or drying - just moisturizing. Coverage, Brightening & Glow: There's minimal coverage, but it naturally brightens the complexion by about half a shade. Layering doesn't increase the brightening effect. The moisturizing formula gives a slight glow, making the skin look naturally enhanced overall. Scent: The fragrance is reminiscent of common cosmetics or hand creams, but it's not overpowering. It should be fine for most people, except those with very sensitive noses. Blemishes: As it's marketed as a non-irritating sunscreen, I experienced no itching, tingling, or blemishes after use.
ConsContainer: Since the packaging isn't very sturdy, I'm a bit worried it might get crushed or burst if I carry it around. Also, when stored upright, the sunscreen can get messy around the cap when opened, which is slightly disappointing. Product Control: Due to the runny consistency, it tends to come out quickly when squeezed, making it a bit challenging to control the amount.
TipTip: I recommend storing it horizontally. Tip: When using, squeeze gently as the sunscreen flows out easily.

Vegan-friendly: From the packaging to the tube, it's all paper-based. As a mineral sunscreen with non-nano particles, it's suitable for those with super sensitive skin. 2. Hydrating: For a mineral sunscreen, it's surprisingly moisturizing and absorbs well.
Cons1. Flimsy packaging: The paper tube feels less sturdy compared to other containers. It tends to leak a bit each time you squeeze it. I accidentally dropped some on my black pants, leaving a white stain that was hard to remove. The tube feels softer compared to other sunscreen packaging. I wish the container was more robust. 2. Careful application needed: Due to the soft tube, it's easy to dispense too much product. When this happens, the brightening effect doesn't look as nice. It can leave a white cast typical of mineral sunscreens, so you need to pay attention to absorption. If you use too little, it might not even out your complexion much. You need to find the right balance for the best results.

A portion of sales is donated monthly to animal protection organizations. The packaging is FSC-certified paper printed with eco-friendly soybean oil ink, reducing concerns about harmful substances being absorbed when handling the product. - Contains 8 types of hyaluronic acid, keeping skin hydrated without the typical tightness or dryness of sunscreens, even after extended wear. - Provides double UV protection with inorganic sunscreen and non-nano ingredients, allowing for worry-free outdoor activities. - Has a slight base color that brightens the complexion, making it perfect for daily use in place of foundation.
ConsBeing in a paper tube, squeezing too hard can cause the product to gush out unexpectedly. Also, small amounts of product tend to seep out of the opening, requiring upside-down storage to prevent product buildup at the nozzle, which can be a bit inconvenient.
TipI found it convenient and effective to apply a thin layer first, then reapply. This eliminated the need for additional cushion foundation and provided a nice base for my complexion.

It's more like BB cream color haha Texture: The texture seems similar to BB cream - it's rich yet fluid. Applying it feels like putting on BB cream, which was surprising Scent: There's a subtle herbal scent that's not overpowering. To me, it's almost unscented, which makes it comfortable to apply Brightening effect: It doesn't whiten with a chalky effect, but naturally evens skin tone!! However, since my skin is already very fair (porcelain), I didn't notice a dramatic effect. When applied alone and after some time, there was a slight darkening. But this might be because my complexion is really fair. If you have very light skin, you might want to consider this
ConsPackaging: The texture is fluid, but the paper packaging makes it flimsy. When squeezing, the product tends to flow out on its own, which is an issue. This makes the opening always messy and it's difficult to control the amount

It applies smoothly without any pilling or stickiness, leaving the skin feeling soft and hydrated. Despite 'peppermint' being in the name, I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't any cooling effect or irritation. The brightening effect is incredibly natural. After application, it's barely noticeable on the face. When I applied a generous amount to my face, there was a slight evening of the skin tone. However, I was initially confused when I tested it on the back of my hand (as shown in the photo) and saw no brightening effect at all. For someone like me with a lot to cover, it might not be sufficient for a foundation-free look, but it works wonderfully as a base, creating a natural look without making the face appear disconnected from the neck. I was impressed that they suggest cutting open the container to use up every last bit of the product.
ConsDue to their emphasis on eco-friendliness, there wasn't much protective packaging, which resulted in the box arriving quite crumpled. The container has a paper-like texture that feels like it might burst if pressed too hard. Fortunately, the product itself was unaffected. The tube feels thin, almost paper-like, which makes me nervous about it potentially bursting if squeezed too hard. Given the delicate packaging and the fluid consistency of the product, it's challenging to control the amount dispensed - even a gentle squeeze can cause it to flow out excessively.

My main concerns are enlarged pores and skin texture. I've been using mineral sunscreens because they don't irritate my eyes, which is great, but sometimes they can clog my pores. I've been searching for a product that applies smoothly, offers some brightening, doesn't settle into pores, and won't sting my eyes. The vegan brightening moisturizer impressed me right from the packaging, which shows consideration for the environment. It came in a paper pack instead of a box, and the container itself is quite unique. The formula is slightly runny, thinner than a typical cream. There's a subtle scent, which to me smells more like powder than peppermint. The ingredients are generally gentle, but since my skin is currently in a sensitive state, I felt a slight itching right after application - possibly due to the peppermint ingredient. I'm pleased that it doesn't clog my pores or irritate my eyes. As for the brightening effect, it wasn't very noticeable on my skin tone (I usually use shade 17), but it did seem to even out my complexion slightly.
ConsThere are a few downsides. Firstly, the unique container combined with the runny texture makes it a bit messy to use cleanly. The nozzle could be improved by making it more pointed. I've read that it works well as a makeup base, but for me, it wasn't ideal. When I applied foundation or cushion over it, you could see it cracking in the deeper wrinkles. It seems like the amount used needs to be carefully controlled. It might be a bit too rich for oily skin types. Don't expect too much in terms of brightening effects.
TipIt's crucial to control the amount used. Applying too much can emphasize wrinkles. To avoid spills, dispense the product onto the back of your hand and immediately turn the nozzle upright. This way, you can use it neatly without any drips.

I expected it to be thick, but it's actually moisturizing and leaves skin looking beautiful! Brightening effect: It gives a lovely pink tone-up! On busy mornings, you can just apply this and dash out the door - it brightens your complexion beautifully. Ingredients: It's a vegan product without any harmful ingredients, so you can use it with peace of mind. Overall, it applies well, has a pleasant scent, and doesn't pill or separate. It works great as a base for makeup too. While I always prefer mineral sunscreens, they can feel heavy and suffocating. However, this product doesn't have that feeling at all!
ConsThe paper tube packaging... I've never seen anything like it. I understand it's vegan and has good intentions, but it's extremely inconvenient to use. The cap doesn't close properly, the paper gets soggy, and it's difficult to control the amount of product. I hope they can improve this somehow!
TipAfter it absorbs, you can apply makeup on top without any pilling. It's great, really good!

It's my first time using this, and it's made of paper - a truly eco-friendly package! When you press it with your hand, it's soft and pliable due to the paper material. There's even a tear-off section near the cap so you can use every last drop. Sunscreen: As described, it has a pink base! Highly recommended for those with yellow undertones or cool skin tones. It's surprisingly fluid, with a texture similar to an ampoule! Application: The application is incredibly light and pleasant! It doesn't feel slippery as you might expect. When applied over a solid skincare base, it gives a 'moist inside, dry outside' feel. Feel on skin: Rather than feeling greasy, it gives a slight Inner Glow. Compared to other tinted sunscreens I've used, which felt heavy and made my skin look thick despite good coverage, this lightweight brightening moisturizer feels more natural. While the coverage might be slightly less, it naturally brightens the face. It's not like 'this person is wearing something', but more like 'their face looks brighter today' - a very natural effect that I'm really satisfied with. No pilling or flaking, and it slightly covers pores!
ConsThe container, being real paper, tears more easily than expected. You can easily tear it with your hands! I only apply sunscreen at home so it's not an issue for me, but it might be problematic for carrying around. Given its fluid texture, the soft container makes it slightly difficult to control the amount dispensed. This might take some getting used to. When squeezing out the sunscreen, it sometimes spurts a bit from the opening, possibly due to the container. Sigh.

With the intense UV rays, I feared I might get badly burned if I kept going without protection. Luckily, I was selected for The Hwahae Testers and got to try this product. It has all the features I look for in a sunscreen, making it a perfect match for me. My priorities in a sunscreen are: easy application without being too thick, a moisturizing feel, quick absorption like an emulsion, and a slight brightening effect - but not as intense as a tone-up cream. Since I have oily skin, I avoid sunscreens that leave a greasy shine, and it's crucial that it doesn't pill or separate when I apply cushion foundation or liquid foundation over it. With such strict criteria, I struggled to find a suitable product until now. This sunscreen has a consistency between water and an emulsion - it's almost fluid, which makes it incredibly easy to apply. It provides a natural brightening effect that's great for bare skin days. Initially, I was concerned the runny texture might lead to shine, but it actually adheres to the skin nicely after application. I'm thrilled that it doesn't leave a greasy look, even without powder. When I apply cushion or liquid foundation over it, everything sits beautifully without any pilling. On days I've worn this sunscreen under my makeup, I've received many compliments - people saying I look radiant, my skin looks great, or that I look prettier than usual. This happened even when my skin wasn't at its best due to some blemishes, which says a lot! I let a friend test it on her hand, and she liked it too. I'll probably repurchase this when I run out. The fact that it's vegan is also a plus!
ConsWhile the positives far outweigh the negatives, if I had to mention some downsides: the runny texture makes it a bit tricky to control the amount you squeeze out. Also, I found the scent quite strong at first, which I didn't love. However, my friend liked the fragrance, and I've gotten used to it now, so it's not too bad! Oh, and personally, I'm not a huge fan of the packaging design (ahem). As someone who wears contact lenses daily and often rubs my eyes, I've noticed that if I touch my eyes after applying this sunscreen, they can feel a bit irritated.
TipAfter using it for a while, I discovered a tip for controlling the amount of sunscreen: Instead of squeezing it with the tube pointing downwards into your palm, try holding the tube with the opening facing upwards. This way, you can easily dispense just the right amount you need!
