I don't feel burdened to repurchase it. The package is quite unique, and as my usual sunscreen has become too greasy as I've aged, I was looking for a new one. The unique package and my positive experience with the Hwahae Trial Reviewers' toner pads led me to try this product. I'm not sure if it's a branding strategy or the actual direction, but the vegan, animal welfare, and environmentally-friendly aspects give a good impression. While the package isn't as sturdy, which requires some adjustment in application, it doesn't hinder the usage. Despite having combination-dry skin that's prone to clogged pores, this sunscreen applies lightly without the typical heaviness of sunscreens. Although labeled as a tone-up sunscreen, the tone-up effect is similar to regular sunscreens, and the fragrance is mild, not overpowering. Cleansing is also not an issue when just wearing this sunscreen without makeup. I'll have to use it through the summer to know for sure, but I'm quite satisfied and considering a repurchase.
ConsAs mentioned earlier, it is not easy to control the amount due to the packaging! However, if we can reduce the use of plastic even a little bit, it is completely acceptable.
TipAt first, it is easy to open the product by tilting it and adjusting the amount by pressing down.

Normally, tone-up products tend to worsen my skin troubles, but this product seems to have really good ingredients. It has a smooth application and absorbs well. After application, there is a slight glow, but it's not overly oily or burdensome for makeup. The most memorable aspect was that the product packaging is made of paper, which makes it easy to use up the product and convenient to cut or separate. It seems like a good basic item.
ConsIt seems like this product is more focused on sunscreen function and ingredients rather than tone-up. The tone-up effect is not very noticeable. However, after using the product, there is a slight glow and the skin looks a bit more lively compared to the original tone. In the past, I used a product that had a combined pump for both tone-up cream and sunscreen, and I was disappointed when I applied it thinking about the tone-up effect. Nowadays, I use this product when my skin condition is not good or when I'm too lazy to use cushion foundation. It gives a nice pink glow and works well as a makeup-free product.

Before application - After application - Texture - Product - There is always a feeling that tone-up sunscreens make the skin look too pale, but this product doesn't make the skin look pale, but rather brightens it! Many products make the skin around the eyebrows look pale, but this one really brightens the skin. So it's a great product. - When applying mineral sunscreen, the skin is always moisturized at first, but then becomes very dry afterwards. But this product has less dryness compared to other mineral sunscreens, which was good. And when I applied this sunscreen, even though I didn't do my skincare properly, there was really no dryness.
ConsThe texture is too runny, so it's a bit difficult to control the amount. I end up squeezing out too much.
TipWhen I'm going to exercise and don't want to wear full makeup, this is good to use! Since I can just apply it quickly and wash it off, I can avoid dryness before it sets in.

However, I applied to be a Hwahae Trial Reviewer and tried the Chorongchorong products, as I felt assured by their ingredients. While it's true that no matter how good the ingredients are, the skin's reaction can vary depending on its condition, I didn't have any major issues when I checked before using the products. The tone-up effect was not unnatural, and it applied smoothly, which I liked.
ConsCleansing is important for skin inflammation, but since my skin becomes more sensitive when it comes into contact with water, I try to minimize the secondary cleansing. This product could not be fully cleansed with the gel cleanser I'm currently using, so I had to use a cleansing water for the first cleanse and then the gel cleanser, which seems burdensome to use daily for my very sensitive skin.
TipThe combination of cleansing water and gel cleanser seems to provide sufficient cleansing.

Cons✅️ Shiny: After applying, there is a bit of a shiny look, so a mattifying powder is necessary. ✅️ Low Coverage: I previously used a sunscreen with better coverage, so the coverage of this product is quite low, though it does provide a tone-up effect. However, if you have sensitive skin and are looking for a base product to use before makeup, I strongly recommend this.
Tip✅️ Applying sunscreen -> powder -> cushion/base makeup in this order can create a long-lasting, perfect makeup look that won't break down throughout the day!

It matched the unsunburned parts of my skin perfectly, which surprised me. The packaging is made of eco-friendly paper material (innovative). The color is a peach-like skin tone. The scent was expected to be peppermint, but it's not a mint fragrance, yet it's not overpowering and feels natural. There is no stinging sensation when applying, and it doesn't break down over time. It has a very gentle and comfortable feel. I'm one of those people whose skin tone becomes really unnatural around the end of August and the beginning of September. It turns kind of grayish... I diligently apply sunscreen to avoid burning, but throughout the summer, it accumulates, and when the weather gets a bit cooler, I sometimes skip it... Just skipping it for a day can make my face dull and tanned. Even with sunscreen, my skin burns easily... It seems my skin is really good at producing melanin pigment... And it doesn't turn black, but rather a slightly grayish dull color. When I first received the product and applied it on the back of my hand, the application was unsuccessful, and the color didn't seem great, and I felt it might be a bit shiny. For the first use, since I failed to control the amount on the back of my hand, I applied my regular sunscreen first and then layered this product thinly on top. Contrary to my expectations, it applied matte on my skin, and even though I used a moisturizing sunscreen, it felt a bit drying in the afternoon. The drying sensation was also present after cleansing (in an air-conditioned environment). The next time, I used it alone. I had to go out quickly, and it was raining, so I just applied a thin layer of this product alone. My face was a bit tanned from the sun, but it made my skin look bright and restored the original skin tone. My neck was looking too dark, so I applied it there as well, and it blended seamlessly with the untanned decollete area, making it look natural. Next, I tried applying this product twice, and it looked good when first applied, but it wore off over time. When I applied it twice, with a 10-20 minute gap, it didn't wear off as much. Applying a matte sunscreen in layers with some time in between also helped it wear off less. It seems to be a mineral sunscreen and waterproof. When in contact with water, the surface becomes slightly textured. Regular foam cleansers were not enough to remove it, so I had to do a double cleanse with a cleansing oil.
ConsApplying moisturizing sunscreen and immediately layering another product on top causes pilling. This product alone, when applied in two consecutive layers, also causes pilling. The dispenser needs improvement... it gets messy and the cap area is difficult to wipe clean with a tissue.
TipWhen used alone (once), there is no smudging. When applied with sufficient time between applications, it smudges less.

I was pleased that it was a reliable tone-up product that changed to a pinkish tone, rather than just becoming opaquely white and brightening. The lasting power is not as long as makeup products, but the initial impression was very good. 2. Even though the product name contains 'peppermint' and the package is green, the scent was a subtle, not overpowering fragrance, and there was no typical sunscreen scent, which I really liked. 3. The most important factors were the application and the finish, and the application was very good. At first, I thought there was a bit of an oily finish, but it ended up drying down to a refreshing one.
ConsThe application is good, but since it's a tone-up product, you need to make sure to spread it evenly to avoid any uneven patches. If you apply it too quickly, it can look a bit layered. You need to take your time and gently pat it in. This is my first time trying an eco-friendly package, and every time I open the lid, I feel anxious that the product will spill or burst because it feels a bit soft. Some more information about the package design would help build trust.

Unlike other sunscreens, it was more watery, so the application was smooth. And the best part was the natural-looking tone-up effect. Normally, even if sunscreens claim to have a natural tone-up effect, it can look a bit unnatural, but this product was truly natural-looking. And the herb-like scent was not at all unpleasant!
ConsThe products I've won in events so far have either suited me really well or were just about okay to use. But this one has quite a few disappointing aspects. First, the exterior of the product is different from other sunscreen products, so even before applying it, it just started oozing out on its own, making it impossible to control the amount. This product gives a natural tone-up effect with just a little bit, but due to the failed amount control, my face ended up looking puffy.

As a dog owner, this brand seems like an excellent choice. The domestic top-level UV protection and tone-up features are wonderful. At first, the delivery in a paper bag rather than a box seemed a bit shabby, but the brand's eco-friendly ethos is apparent. As it's non-chemical, I'm quite pleased with it!
ConsAs others have mentioned, while the eco-friendliness is good, the paper tube is a bit unusual, so it takes some getting used to. ㅋㅋㅋ And the tone-up feature is both an advantage and a disadvantage - on really hot days, I have to apply it more often, and it has a bit of a makeup-like feel, so I can't really cake it on. ㅋㅋ
TipI think applying the transparent mineral sunscreen first, and then using this product as a second layer of subtle tone-up and complete non-chemical protection would be ideal!

I learned that larger particles can block UV rays more perfectly for the first time. When I first applied it, I really felt that the natural pink tone-up was like this. General tone-up sunscreens turn white, but this one naturally organizes my yellowish skin tone. The texture is dense and moisturizing, but after application, it is not sticky and well adheres without a powdery finish. Recent products don't irritate the eyes, and this product didn't irritate my eyes at all. 🟠Fragrance I thought it would have a mint scent because it contains peppermint leaf extract, but to me it had a slightly refreshing grapefruit scent. It was surprising that there was no grapefruit in the product. The packaging is a paper tube with soy ink printing, so there is no worry when touching it, and it is indicated that the entire product can be used after peeling, which is good for considering the environment.
ConsIt would be better if there was more explanation about the fragrance. But it's good that there are no fragrance ingredients.
TipApply a small amount after skin care. There is no clumping or shifting even if you reapply every 3 hours.
