The color is surprisingly subdued and ordinary - a slightly darker pink that might not show up on darker lips. It's closer to a clear gloss in appearance. However, it's highly recommended for those who often struggle with dead skin cells on their lips. Unlike other glosses that can sometimes cause flaking when they dry, this one doesn't have that issue at all and doesn't aggravate the lip condition. What's impressive is that while it doesn't irritate the lips, it provides a slight warming sensation and plumping effect. This gradually helps to smooth out any roughness and adds a nice glow to the lips. For those with extremely dry lips, a lip product that doesn't exacerbate the condition is essential. This one fits the bill perfectly. Plus, it comes in a pretty case that's convenient to carry around. The color is subtle and natural-looking on cool skin tones, and the shine is just right - not too overwhelming. Not recommended for cool skin tones that need more vibrant colors to look fresh. Also not ideal for those with naturally dark lip colors, as the shade might not show up well. When reapplying, it's best to gently wipe off the previous layer for the prettiest result. For a truly beautiful effect, apply a thin layer of lip concealer or define your lips slightly with a lip pencil before using this gloss.
