The color is surprisingly subdued and ordinary - a slightly darker pink that might not show up on darker lips. It's closer to a clear gloss in appearance. However, it's highly recommended for those who often struggle with dead skin cells on their lips. Unlike other glosses that can sometimes cause flaking when they dry, this one doesn't have that issue at all and doesn't aggravate the lip condition. What's impressive is that while it doesn't irritate the lips, it provides a slight warming sensation and plumping effect. This gradually helps to smooth out any roughness and adds a nice glow to the lips. For those with extremely dry lips, a lip product that doesn't exacerbate the condition is essential. This one fits the bill perfectly. Plus, it comes in a pretty case that's convenient to carry around. The color is subtle and natural-looking on cool skin tones, and the shine is just right - not too overwhelming. Not recommended for cool skin tones that need more vibrant colors to look fresh. Also not ideal for those with naturally dark lip colors, as the shade might not show up well. When reapplying, it's best to gently wipe off the previous layer for the prettiest result. For a truly beautiful effect, apply a thin layer of lip concealer or define your lips slightly with a lip pencil before using this gloss. I bought this thinking it was sheer for layering, but it's actually pigmented enough to wear on its own. The color is a delicate, soft pink that's very subtle and elegant. The plumping effect is barely noticeable, but I could feel a burning sensation on my lips, which was a bit uncomfortable.

The color is pretty and there's a slight plumping effect. It's not enough to make your lips noticeably fuller, but it gives a pleasant, subtle boost. The gloss has a nice consistency - not too thick - with a beautiful shine. It has good staying power and impressive color payoff for a gloss. I often wear this product alone for a light makeup look. Overall, it's quite nice. Given the high price point, I'd only consider repurchasing if I found a shade I absolutely loved.

I've tried some cheaper alternatives, but they just can't compare. If you're a beauty junkie, I'd recommend splurging on at least one of these instead of settling for budget options. While it's a transparent gloss, it still offers great lip coverage and color payoff. The delicate color combined with the gorgeous shine complements any makeup look. I love that there's no staining, so you can reapply without it getting muddy or dull. Some might see the lack of staining as a downside, but as someone who owns over 50 lip products, I believe glossy tints can't excel in both shine and long-lasting color - it's usually one or the other. For longer wear, I recommend applying this over a staining tint! The clear pink shade is absolutely gorgeous! It's perfect for those with light undertones. When used as a base and blended for a gradient effect, it looks truly stunning! There's a slight burning sensation when applied, unfortunately. Depending on the base lip product, the color and feel can change, so it's fun to experiment with different combinations! • It's rich and hydrating, perfect for winter use. It's a direct hit for flakiness and dryness that even lip balm can't solve. • The rich and sticky texture means hair easily sticks to it. It also transfers readily onto masks, cups, etc. • It feels a bit sheer when used alone. However, it's great for a natural lip look! • When layered, the color builds up beautifully and clearly, but the texture also becomes thicker and heavier. It's especially sticky to the point where strings form when you open your mouth after closing it. If you want to increase color payoff, it's better to use it with other lip products instead.
