I really liked the bright color. It had a lovely pink tint to it. I'm getting the feeling it might cause blemishes, but I'll need to use it a bit longer to be sure. - om****Normal SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRecommendedJan 18, 2025
Looking at the dirty lid, I can tell I've used this for a while. I've been using this foundation consistently since fall. The Giverny Fit Cover Foundation suited my skin well. I usually love glowy makeup, so I was excited about this from the moment it came out. I bought it when there weren't any reviews yet. While it didn't quite meet my expectations, it's a decent foundation. It's moisturizing, so I don't feel any dryness even when I apply it directly to my skin without spraying toner on the puff. As someone who doesn't usually set their foundation with powder, I don't notice a huge difference in glow compared to other foundations. I typically wear foundation for over 8 hours without touch-ups, and I didn't notice significant darkening. I use shade 21, and if you like a lighter look, this shade might work well for you. Since I don't have many blemishes, I don't prioritize coverage, so I can't comment accurately on its covering power. This product doesn't have any standout advantages, but it doesn't have any notable drawbacks either. - su*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 10, 2025
The porcelain color is absolutely gorgeous. It's a perfect foundation for winter use. To be honest, it might not be the best choice for summer. For a glossy foundation, the coverage is surprisingly good. It's a bit on the oily side, so when used with powder, it can slightly crease around the eyes. Use less product around the eye area. - xt****Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 13, 2024
I usually use shade 21 cool-tone foundation, but this time I bought shade 17 with a pink base to mix things up. Since I wear a lot of turtlenecks in winter, I don't have to worry about the tone difference with my neck, so I'm using shade 17 alone for a radiant look. Even if you apply glow foundation a bit lighter, it naturally settles down a shade after a while, so it's all good. The combination formula has just the right amount of hydration for fall and winter use. The pore coverage is surprisingly good for a glow foundation. The coverage is decent too. For larger blemishes, you can use concealer, and since the texture doesn't slide on the skin, it pairs well with concealer. I used to use Giverny's long-lasting foundation, but it looked dry in winter, so I tried this glow version and I'm really satisfied. Now that I'm in my late twenties, my skin has transitioned from very oily to combination~dry, making foundation choices tricky, but this one is easy to use. I also love how clear the color is. It's a bit disappointing that there isn't a 21 cool base option for spring use You might think it's similar to semi-matte, but it's definitely a glow finish as the luminosity increases over time. While semi-matte foundations can make your skin feel dry inside as time passes in winter, this product doesn't do that. If you apply your skincare well, your complexion looks great all day long. - qk***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsNov 5, 2024
It's moisturizing and the color payoff is excellent. The amount seems to be more generous than expected. When used with powder, it tends to create a slight separation on the skin. It feels more oily than hydrating.
