After visiting a sulfur hot spring, I realized sulfur works wonders for my skin that's prone to dead skin cells, deep dryness, and excess oil. That's when I started looking for sulfur products and came across this one. My skin tends to build up dead skin cells excessively, but as someone with super sensitive skin, frequent exfoliation does more harm than good. It's a frustrating situation where I can't seem to win either way. I've been using a gentle cleanser in the morning and this product at night. I've noticed significant improvements - my skin texture has become smoother, dead skin cells are effectively removed, sebum production has decreased, and my deep dryness has reduced. As a bonus, my pores seem to have shrunk too. Of course, I can't attribute all these benefits solely to this product. However, I can confidently say it's been most effective in gently removing dead skin cells and clearing pores without causing irritation. To use, I take a small amount of powder in my hand, mix it with water, and it transforms into a silky texture with a subtle sulfur scent. What I love is that my skin doesn't feel tight after cleansing, but rather moisturized. This is definitely a product I'd repurchase. So far, I haven't found any aspects of this product that I'm dissatisfied with. - ju**********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 30, 2025
There's definitely a sense of my face becoming more refined, and I could feel the improvement in my daughter's skin, who struggles with blemishes and dead skin cells. Compared to other powder cleansers, this one comes in a larger container with a wider opening, which might lead to using it up faster. However, if you transfer some into a smaller container for better portion control, it shouldn't be an issue. When used straight from the original packaging, especially if sharing with kids, it seems to disappear quickly due to difficulty in controlling the amount. My face doesn't feel tight after cleansing. While it's really great, considering the price and the added shipping cost, it's quite a burden to purchase. It's a significant expense since the whole family uses it and we go through it quickly... After writing this review, I noticed the container has changed. I wonder if the new design allows for better portion control... Maybe it's an improvement... When I cleanse, instead of just quickly washing my face, I focus on areas like around the nose or leave the product on for a bit before rinsing. This seems to work better for managing dead skin cells and pores. - lj***Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 18, 2025
I originally liked the enzyme powder cleanser and tried various brands. Since my pores are wide and I tend to have oily skin, most of the enzyme powder cleansers were satisfactory and had similar effects. The only difference from the previous product is that it contains sulfur, but I'm not sure if the effect is significantly different yet. However, the lather is noticeably different from the products I've used before. It can only be described as a 'creamy lather'. I've read reviews that it's quite viscous, but I didn't find it to be that thick. Anyway, it takes longer to rinse it off because it clings to the skin and has a slippery feel. It's not annoyingly inconvenient, though. You can buy it cheaper on Coupang. Hwahae, what's up with that? ㅠㅠ Except for special events, Hwahae is usually more expensive than Naver or Coupang. If the most professional site for cosmetics is also price-competitive, then it would become a major market where people would buy cosmetics exclusively from there. That must be difficult, huh? - o1********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 11, 2025
As someone who's been burned by powder cleansers before, I was hesitant to try this. But I'm so glad I did! Rolling it on my face while cleansing leaves my skin incredibly smooth. I'm not sure if it's the sulfur that's supposed to be good for the skin, but lately my complexion has been absolutely radiant. I use it every night and while I want to use it sparingly, I can't help but use it generously because of how well it works. Thank you for creating such an amazing product! Being a powder, I was worried about water getting in. But this actually turns out to be an advantage! It's easy to transfer a small amount to a different airtight container for travel. For best results, mix a little water with the powder and gently massage it onto your face. It's fantastic for getting rid of dead skin cells! - re**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 3, 2025
After using this, my acne has significantly reduced. It's great! I don't think there was anything particularly disappointing about it. I'm willing to repurchase. I lather up the foam, leave it on my face for about 10 seconds, and then rinse it off. - ny*****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 20, 2025
The foam lathers incredibly well, and I was satisfied with how a small amount creates such a rich, creamy foam. The scent might seem a bit unfamiliar at first, but after using it a few times, you won't even notice it. Despite containing sulfur, I was pleasantly surprised that it doesn't feel slippery at all. It gives a thorough cleansing sensation too. When trying to use it as a mask, it was challenging to mix evenly with a little water as it tends to clump. I didn't use it much as a mask, and I didn't notice significant pore improvement, but I didn't expect dramatic pore refinement from a cleansing foam anyway, so that's okay. As for acne improvement, I didn't see any noticeable effects. If you want to use it as a mask, I recommend diluting it slightly before applying and then letting it dry. The incredibly rich foam is so satisfying, I'm really enjoying using this product. - bo*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 3, 2025
Mineral sulfur from hot springs: The skin's pollution cleaner Organic sulfur: A key component of skin proteins With 99.9% antibacterial properties, it fundamentally addresses recurring issues like excess sebum, dead skin cells, blackheads, and dry skin. The sulfur absorption thoroughly cleanses impurities while simultaneously tightening pores, offering 4-in-1 pore care. This cleansing powder, suitable for daily use, features finely ground sulfur and grains that clear out pore-clogging debris. Its mineral content helps refine the skin, leaving your complexion refreshed and balanced. The powder form was a bit inconvenient, and unfortunately, it didn't quite agree with my skin. - ga**********Oily SkinAcne SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedJan 30, 2025
Lathers well, allowing gentle cleansing for sensitive skin Effective cleansing power eliminates the need for double cleansing Exfoliates dead skin cells, revealing a radiant glow The package design is rather plain; hoping for a prettier redesign in the future - ha*********Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 15, 2025
The foam is rich and creamy, leaving my skin feeling squeaky clean, which I absolutely love. It does a great job of clearing out sebum and pores, so I've been using it frequently. As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm thrilled that it cleanses without causing any irritation. I'll definitely be repurchasing! There's a slight sulfur-like scent, but I actually find it reassuring since it means they haven't added artificial fragrances. I'm using it with peace of mind. - al******Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 26, 2024Reviewed by The Hwahae Testers

It has a typical cosmetic scent, so I had no hesitation using it. Texture: The powder's consistency can be adjusted depending on how much water you add - you can make it thin or thick. This versatility is great as you can adapt it to your skin's condition or use it for various purposes like cleansing or as a mask. Application: Despite being in powder form, I was concerned it might be abrasive. However, once mixed with water, it feels just like a regular cleanser, making it very comfortable to use. After use: There's no tightness or residue after cleansing, making it suitable for men to use as well. The only downside is that the 50g quantity runs out quite quickly!
