The ultimate bang for your buck among needle patches! I'm writing this review after using it for about a week due to recent breakouts of pustular acne and pimples on my face. I have combination dehydrated, sensitive skin. Soothing effect: I had a hard, pus-filled acne on my chin. I couldn't resist and popped it! You know how it keeps oozing fluid for days after that? Well, I kept this product on for about two days straight, and after that, it completely subsided... Not only that, but the scar disappeared too! Usually, when you pop that kind of acne, it leaves a big scar, right? But even though I popped it, after using this product for about two days, there was no scabbing, and the pustular acne calmed down to the point where you couldn't even tell it was there. Adhesion: It sticks really, really well. The needle patch size is just right, and the film on the outer surface has great adhesion. Even though I had constant discharge, it stayed put without falling off! Packaging: As shown in the photo, the needle part is well-protected with plastic packaging, so you can store and use it without damaging the needles. This was my first time using a needle patch, and I loved everything about it - from soothing, minimizing scars, to protecting wounds! There wasn't a single thing I disliked! And the most satisfying part is that it only costs 3000 won for all these functions. It's really amazing. Daiso is the best. While it's fantastic for protecting wounds and soothing blemishes, unfortunately, the size is quite large. No lie, it's about the size of a 100 won coin. So it's quite noticeable. If you're looking for a patch that's not visible, you might find this a bit disappointing. I felt like my blemishes subsided even faster when I applied acne spot treatment or acne ointment and then put the needle patch on top! - so*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinJun 9, 2025
The price is right Easy to find at Daiso stores The soothing effect seems less effective compared to other brands I found it too suffocating to use when I applied it While the affordability and accessibility of this product at Daiso stores are definite pluses, it falls short in terms of performance. The calming effect isn't as strong as competitors' offerings, and some users may find the texture uncomfortable on the skin, leading to a claustrophobic feeling. This might not be the best choice for those with super sensitive skin or those looking for a more breathable option. - kt*******Combination SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesJun 9, 2025
At least it's easy to find since it's from Daiso. Sigh... there's really nothing else like it. Soothing effect? Nonexistent. Can you see my face? I'm not usually this red. I just felt like I might get some blemishes, so I tried this famous Daiso product. But what is this? My skin turned red - this isn't soothing, it's making things worse! The price of 3000 won for 10 masks? Absolutely not worth it. This product is causing me so much stress. Seriously, don't buy this. Give it as a gift to someone you dislike. - ib****Combination SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 21, 2025
This was my holy grail product... but it's been discontinued 😢 To be honest, when it comes to blemish patches, there isn't really one that's significantly better than others. The key is to use them frequently, so price and quantity matter more. And this one was truly a great value for money. It stung a bit more than other microneedle patches. The texture felt somewhat rough on the skin. It's unfortunate when a product we rely on gets discontinued, especially one that offers such good value. For those with super sensitive skin, the slight tingling sensation might be a concern. However, the effectiveness and affordability of this patch made it stand out for many users dealing with blemishes. When searching for a replacement, consider looking for options that balance cost-effectiveness with gentle application to maintain a healthy complexion without irritation. - ap***********Dry SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresApr 6, 2025
Hmm... I'm not really sure, but my blemishes just won't go away! It just doesn't work for me... So disappointing. - ho********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMar 17, 2025
The adhesion is quite good, and since the product itself is large, it can be used effectively even on big blemishes without running out. I don't think there were any major disappointments during the period I used it. - qk**********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 21, 2025
- Skin type: Oily / Blemish-prone (not sensitive to cosmetics) - Purchased with my own money - Effects When applied to blemishes, there's a slight tingling sensation! It doesn't feel too irritating though. However, I'm not sure about its soothing effects... I didn't notice my blemishes healing faster, which is disappointing. - Repurchase intention: No I didn't feel like the blemishes healed noticeably faster, which was a bit disappointing. I won't be repurchasing. I'd recommend this to those who haven't tried microneedle patches before! Although it didn't work for me, it might work well for others. I saw on YouTube that some people use microneedle patches together with A-Solution spot treatment products. That method could be a great tip too! - yu*****Combination SkinRecommendedFeb 16, 2025
Better than Acropass, for sure. That one was really bad for contact sensitivity and had excessive packaging. It also fell off too easily, which was a real letdown. This one has a wider contact area on the needle part, so it really stays put. It does expand quite a bit, to the point where you might wonder if it's working correctly, but I actually preferred that since it didn't fall off. To be honest, the effects of these microneedle patches aren't that dramatic. It's probably better to just use a spot treatment. Still, I'd choose five of these over one Acropass any day. - yo*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedFeb 2, 2025
The needle patches sold at Olive Young are expensive and ineffective, but this product is affordable and works wonders. I keep stocking up and use it whenever blemishes appear. When I apply it before bed, my blemishes are gone by morning. Occasionally, you might find a patch where the needles have dissolved, which is ineffective and feels like a waste of money. However, this happens very rarely, so most of the time they should be fine. - hi******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedJan 20, 2025
The value for money is incredible! Other microneedle patches are way too expensive. There's absolutely nothing to complain about. I'll definitely keep buying and using this product.
