I love how light and fluid it is! The coverage is pretty decent too. It lasts quite well, so you don't need to touch up! I think I preferred the formula before it was reformulated. While I do like that it's light and fluid, the shade is much lighter than the previous Linen color. - jy******Combination SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedApr 18, 2025
1. Reason for purchase: Got it at a great price during a Clio sale! 2. Features: The texture is thinner than expected, so it tends to run on the back of your hand. However, I loved how well it adheres to the skin! It sets quickly, so it's best to pat it in with a sponge or puff right after application. It has a slightly matte finish with a subtle glow, which I really liked. It evens skin tone beautifully and covers redness well, brightening any uneven dark areas uniformly! 3. Recommended skin type: Suitable for most skin types except very dry skin. 4. Will I repurchase: Yes In the afternoon, as my skin became drier, there was some slight pore emphasis. The wear of the product seems to depend on how well you prep your skin beforehand. If you take good care of your pores regularly, it should finish smoothly. Due to its strong adherence, thorough cleansing is recommended. Try applying a thin layer with a spatula after one pump, then pat it in with a puff for best results. - kr******Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessMar 15, 2025
The lightweight formula applies smoothly in a thin, hydrating layer and gives the complexion a radiant look. It stings a bit around the nose area. At first, I thought its thin, fluid texture would make it great for daily use, but it dries quickly if not applied swiftly, leaving a matte finish. This seems to cause it to sit on the skin rather than blend in. Using a puff or sponge probably won't work well. For a thin, natural-looking application, it's best to thoroughly moisturize first and then apply with your fingers. - hy********Combination SkinAcne SkinRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedMar 9, 2025
1. Absorbs thinly. I use foundation to even out my complexion rather than brightening it, and to cover redness and blemish scars. This one blends naturally with my skin tone perfectly. 2. Despite its matte finish, it doesn't feel overly drying. It's not particularly hydrating either, making it ideal for summer use. 1. It sets extremely quickly. If you try to blend after applying it all over, you'll be too late. You need to apply and pat it in sections - apply, pat, apply, pat. 2. It can be quite drying for winter use. 1. Mixing it with an emulsion can lead to a disaster - the foundation sets too quickly while the emulsion remains greasy. 2. You really need to pat it in rapidly and vigorously. - ly*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedFeb 15, 2025
Today, I'm going to write an honest review about a foundation I've recently tried! To be honest, I don't usually wear a lot of makeup, but I do use foundation on days when I want a flawless complexion or a more polished look. I had high expectations for this product since it came highly recommended by many people and I'd seen a lot of advertisements for it. Let's start with the packaging - it looks sleek and luxurious. The pump dispenser makes it easy to control the amount and it's more hygienic since you don't have to touch the product directly. I typically prefer slightly dewy finishes over completely matte ones, and this product's semi-matte finish was just perfect. After application, it feels like it melds with your skin, adhering naturally without any patchiness, which I loved. The coverage was surprisingly good too! While it's not a full-coverage product, it adequately conceals blemishes without feeling heavy, making it great for everyday use. I have some acne and dark spots, so I tried it with concealer, and the combination gave me an almost flawless complexion. Overall, I'd recommend this as a daily foundation due to its decent longevity and excellent adherence. However, depending on your skin type, you might experience some darkening or dryness, so it's best to use it with skincare products suited to your skin. Personally, I'm quite satisfied and will likely continue using it frequently! If there's one downside, it's that I noticed some slight darkening as time passed. At first, it matched my skin perfectly, but by afternoon, I felt the tone had darkened a bit. Also, on dry days, it might make your skin feel a bit tight. So if you have dry skin, I'd recommend using it with a hydrating base product! - 01*********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedJan 24, 2025
The foundation adhered well to my skin, giving it a clean and polished appearance. It was a bit inconvenient having to spread the product quickly as soon as it touched my skin. - jy*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsEnlarged PoresRednessJan 9, 2025
As a student with combination skin leaning slightly dry and a complexion a bit lighter than shade 21, I find this foundation's color really beautiful, though it's a tad bright for me. After wearing it from 8 AM to 11 PM, even facing cold winds and heaters, I noticed that while some oil did come through, there was virtually no darkening. The coverage was great right after application, it adhered well to my skin, and it set incredibly fast. While I didn't experience any blemishes, it was extremely drying. Despite my thorough skincare routine, it severely emphasized dead skin cells, making my skin feel like it was cracking. When oil did break through, it was a disaster - not only did it highlight flaky skin, but the foundation seemed to melt off, leaving patches that looked like bare skin. Always use a spatula! Apply it thinly and evenly... without fail! - dp*******Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 28, 2024
After always using cushion foundations, I wanted to try a regular foundation for a thin and clean makeup look. This is my first purchase, and I think I'll stick with this product. When squeezed onto the back of your hand, it has a slightly runny consistency, but it's surprisingly matte when applied to the face! That's why I don't usually use powder on top. If you apply it directly with a sponge, you can achieve a high-coverage, flawless skin look. Using a spatula to apply a thin layer and then patting with a sponge creates a sheer, translucent, smooth skin finish! Clio products are known for their excellent coverage and longevity, so you can trust them. After applying a thin layer, you can cover most blemishes and acne scars by gently patting a small amount on problem areas with a sponge. While it may look light in photos, it actually brightens your complexion beautifully when applied to the face! If you apply another layer over already foundation-covered skin, it can look slightly cakey! Use a spatula! It's a must! You can achieve an incredibly thin, translucent, and flawless skin finish. - sa*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinDark CirclesRecommendedDec 23, 2024
Great coverage, and I truly believe Clio is top-tier when it comes to concealing blemishes After some time, it tends to cake around the sides of the nose. Even for someone like me who usually uses shade 21, this foundation seemed noticeably lighter compared to others - yj*****Dry SkinEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedDec 8, 2024
The coverage is truly amazing, and even after scarfing down a meal, it didn't budge at all! This is honestly my absolute favorite foundation! It's quite matte, so if you apply too much, it can be a bit tricky to fix. Other than that, everything else about it is great! Using a heart-shaped spatula with this is pure bliss. You absolutely must try it! I highly, highly recommend it!
