I applied the Jojoba Essence, followed by the Serum and Cream, allowing them to absorb fully. Then, I warmed the Jojoba Oil in my hands before applying it to my skin. Not only does it lock in hydration in dry weather, but the oil's aroma is also pleasantly relaxing, reminiscent of an aromatherapy massage that soothes both body and mind.
ConsWell, it seems more suitable for skin struggling with deep dryness rather than for men's skin that tends to be oilier!
TipIt's great to mix 3-4 drops of oil into your nighttime skincare routine, and you can even blend it with body products to say goodbye to dead skin cells!

It has a pleasant, subtle grassy scent that's quite refreshing. The bottle has a cap at the opening, which prevents the oil from leaking during use - a great feature. The oil absorbs well, allowing you to apply it evenly with just a small amount. I think this bottle will last quite a while.
ConsWhile I appreciated the beautiful and careful packaging, which certainly made for a good first impression, I couldn't help but wonder if it was a bit excessive considering current environmental concerns. It's an ironic dilemma. Perhaps offering a choice in packaging options, especially for those ordering as gifts, would be a good solution. As for the bottle design, although I like the cap, I found myself wishing it had a dropper instead. Having to tap the bottle against my palm to dispense the product requires a bit more attention to control the amount.

Even with makeup on, it gives more of a firm, supple feeling rather than looking greasy. I usually avoid oils because they tend to make my skin look shiny, but I really like this product!
ConsI'll need to use it for longer to fully comment on whether it causes blemishes or not. So far, I haven't experienced any blemishes.

Overall, I have slightly dehydrated skin. I currently have small blemishes on my forehead and nose with a bit of redness. Product packaging: It comes in a transparent bottle with a plastic cap and seal. The bottle opening is small, allowing for hygienic use. After using: Being sensitive to scents due to morning sickness, I initially found the fragrance a bit strong. However, if you're used to regular cosmetics, it should be fine as it's quite subtle. The lingering scent after it settles is pleasant. The oil absorbs well, feeling light rather than heavy on the skin. When applied, you can feel the moisturizing effect, which seems great for skin that's become dry due to sudden seasonal changes. Also, being jojoba oil, it doesn't clog pores, so I didn't feel any skin discomfort even when using it on areas with blemishes.
ConsThe product contains small amounts of essential oils, which naturally include linalool and benzyl benzoate. Benzyl benzoate is used as a fragrance and preservative in various cosmetics, perfumes, and skincare products. It has preservative properties and helps extend the fragrance's longevity. Benzyl benzoate also has skin-soothing effects, helping to alleviate itching and skin irritation. While it's extracted from both natural and synthetic sources and contributes to improving product quality and efficacy, it may cause irritation for those with sensitive skin, so caution is advised when using. Linalool can also cause allergic reactions, so infants and those with sensitive skin should be careful before use. Although these are common ingredients in many cosmetics, those sensitive to these components should patch test before use. Personally, I think the product would be effective enough without the essential oil ingredients. It would be nice if there was an unscented version available for those who prefer fragrance-free products or need them.
TipAs this oil absorbs well and isn't sticky, you could apply a small amount to your neck or temples for a massage when you're feeling tired. It's not just for the face - you can mix it with cream and apply it to any dry areas for instant hydration.

I was so grateful to have the opportunity to try this product through Hwahae! I used it for a week, and despite being an oil formula, it absorbed into my skin smoothly without feeling sticky. While applying, I could understand why it's called 'Gyeol House' - I felt my skin texture becoming more refined and moisturized. The scent is a subtle jojoba oil fragrance, which I personally found pleasant and not overwhelming. The texture was surprisingly non-greasy, somewhere between a flowing toner and an emulsion, and it absorbed immediately after application. Throughout use, I didn't experience any blemishes. Overall, I was very satisfied.
ConsIt doesn't have any anti-wrinkle properties, so after cleansing, I apply 1. this oil, then 2. an anti-wrinkle cream. I recommend using it alongside a product with anti-aging benefits!
TipIt's great to apply an extra layer on areas with dead skin cells, flakiness, or dryness! You can also mix it with sunscreen or foundation for application. (Personally, as my forehead tends to get oily the quickest, I either avoid applying it there or use less in that area.)

Right from the start, I loved the clean packaging that made me feel like I'd received a gift. The detailed usage instructions are great, making it easy even for first-time oil users. I was worried about controlling the amount since it's an oil, but it dispenses perfectly in single drops, which is fantastic. The scent is subtle, allowing even sensitive noses like mine to use it comfortably. While it's good on its own, it's perfect when you apply your usual moisturizer after letting the oil absorb. For those with combination dehydrated skin, using this jojoba oil in winter provides just the right amount of hydration without feeling heavy - it's wonderful!
ConsThere's honestly nothing to complain about... The volume is generous, making it great value for money, and the packaging is beautiful. If I really had to find a downside, it might be that it's not available at Olive Young?

Most importantly, it absorbs well!! I even timed it with a stopwatch lol It's fully absorbed in about 10 minutes for the most part It doesn't dramatically change your skin overnight However, the deep dryness that usually starts with the cold wind hasn't come yet Since it's not fully winter yet, I used two to three drops, rubbed them together, then patted it on my face, and that amount was sufficient
ConsAh... I'm curious why it's not a dropper bottle... There's a slight herbal scent + for some reason I smell a hint of spice lol
TipUse it as the last step in your skincare routine by dropping two to three drops onto your palm, rubbing them together, then patting it where needed. In the harsh winter, you can apply it all over your face, except around the eyes, for best results

However, I used this product without any issues! Scent: The fragrance isn't polarizing. It was my first time experiencing the jojoba scent, which reminded me of a forest or perhaps a hint of cypress. Texperience: Some oils can leave a greasy film on the skin's surface if not used correctly. This product, however, effectively addressed my deep dryness. Though, first-time oil users might find it a bit rich.
ConsThe matte container can look messy when touched with oily hands. While it's fine for nighttime care, it might feel a bit heavy for morning use.
TipAs the weather gets drier, I've found that applying toner, then this oil, followed by my usual skincare routine creates a beautifully hydrated complexion. Alternatively, adding a drop or two to your sheet mask can significantly boost deep hydration.

Quick absorption, and blends seamlessly with other products without the oil separating. Helps with dead skin cells, preventing dryness. ● Scent - Not overpowering, making it pleasant for daily use. This is especially nice when layering multiple products, as strong scents can clash and become overwhelming over time. ● Versatility - A multi-purpose oil that can be used from head to toe
Cons■ Packaging - While the dropper allows for precise application, it's not as convenient as a pump. You need to tap the bottle against your palm to dispense the product. ■ Amount control - A small amount provides good hydration, but applying too much can leave the skin feeling greasy and may even hinder the absorption of other products. Especially in the T-zone, where skin tends to be oilier, using slightly too much can lead to excessive oiliness by morning
TipPro tip: Before applying cushion foundation or liquid foundation, try lightly coating your disposable puff with a bit of this oil. It helps create an all-over dewy glow (though it may slightly increase transfer)

Scent: Almost fragrance-free with a subtle, pleasant aroma that's hard to describe. My mom keeps raving about how much she loves the scent. Hydration: I've mainly used argan and rosehip oils before, and this falls between them in terms of richness. It's not too oily, providing just the right amount of moisture. I think it absorbs well for most skin types, except very oily ones. Absorption speed may vary, but if you wait, it eventually sinks in completely. Overall: My family shares this, and my mom absolutely adores it. I have combination dehydrated skin with an oily T-zone, and I needed an oil since I didn't want to pile on creams. This oil has the perfect level of richness, so I'm using it with great satisfaction.
ConsI wish the container had a dropper or pump-style dispenser. However, the current packaging does have the advantage of dispensing small oil droplets.
TipI find it a bit heavy to use alone or mix with toner, and it might sit on top of your skin if mixed with cream. So, I'm mixing a few drops with my essence. This may vary for different people. In winter or when your skin is very dry or exposed to the outdoors, it works well mixed into foundation or patted onto the face as the final step of your makeup routine (put a drop or two on your hands and gently press onto your face). However, be cautious if you have blemish-prone skin!
