My skin had been so out of whack recently that makeup wouldn't adhere properly, but with this as a base, my makeup now applies smoothly and stays put. Since this is a liquid product, if you're not careful when squeezing it out, it can splatter everywhere. You need to be cautious when dispensing. Also, when I'm in a rush in the morning and it won't come out easily, I end up having to cut the tube with scissors. I recommend it for dry skin... I'm not sure if it suits oily skin. I bought this product with high expectations, so I'm quite disappointed. It was heavily promoted as a 'must-have' item, but the amount in the small single-use packaging is barely enough - even using just a third of it is difficult to absorb, and it just floats on the skin. Even after making an effort to fully absorb it, it's still too sticky and the base slides around, so I wouldn't recommend it.
