I'm begging, please don't be discontinued! But Wakemake has a habit of discontinuing products way too quickly. I spent a whole hour deliberating at Olive Young before buying this, and it was totally worth the time. It beautifully mutes my natural lip color and gives such a delicate look. As someone with bluish undertones and reddish-purple lips, I'm always struggling to find the right lipstick. But this one is seriously, seriously amazing. The only downside is that it's matte, so it can be a bit drying, but that's unavoidable. The only gloss that covers my natural lip color is an orangey one with a white base, but honestly, it's too warm-toned and I'm not a fan. Humming has a white base with a tiny bit of cloudiness and slight saturation, so it looks pretty even on its own for me. But I got a little bored and added a pop of color to the inner lips, hehe. As a cool-toned gal who loves subtle lip colors, I've found a great trick. I apply the blue Vaseline original lip balm, then lightly swipe this on top. After a brief wait, the surface becomes velvety while the inside stays moisturized. The result? A hydrated matte lip that doesn't tug or stretch. The downside is that it can be a bit drying, so you need to use it with a lip balm, which is a bit of a hassle. For best results, apply this right after your lip balm when your lips still feel a bit slick. Cool-toned beauties, run and grab this right now! I've finally found a base lip color I adore after so long. The shade is absolutely stunning, I can't recommend it enough. For a matte lip, it's not particularly drying. However, like most matte formulas, it's not entirely free from that dry feeling. After a while, when I tried to touch up, the dead skin cells on my lips made it a bit tricky. The staying power doesn't seem to be its strong suit.
