This product was fantastic for someone like me who always experienced skin tightness after using cleansing foams! I have combination skin with excess oil, and I feel like it's slightly reduced my oiliness too! I've already gone through two bottles in no time... - Application ❤️ It applies smoothly, making it easy to spread - Gentleness ❤️ The product itself is so gentle that it doesn't sting even if it gets in your eyes - Cleansing ❤️ It applies gently and doesn't sting the eyes, so even with heavy makeup, it easily removes eyeshadow, eyeliner, etc. - Sebum and Blackhead Removal ❤️ After applying the cleansing balm, go through the emulsification process where it changes from yellow to light yellow, then use the included 'pore brush' to massage. You'll see sebum and blackheads coming right out! * Make sure to go through the emulsification process for effective sebum and blackhead removal * - Purchasing ❤️ When I bought it, it wasn't available at Olive Young, so I had to order a set online. But it's great that it seems to be sold at Olive Young these days! - Exfoliation ❤️ Compared to other cleansing balms, it's disappointing that it doesn't seem very effective for exfoliation - Scent ❤️ Since it's made with carrots, I wouldn't recommend this product to those expecting a pleasant fragrance :( But it's not an off-putting scent either! - Cleansing ❤️ As with cleansing balms and oils in general, it can feel slippery, so you must cleanse thoroughly! For those who can't cleanse meticulously, I recommend a second cleanse! ❤️ After applying the product, make sure to rub it with wet hands to go through the emulsification process, changing from yellow to light yellow, and then cleanse thoroughly!!! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 24, 2025
I've been using this product for about 6 months now, and I can say its cleansing effectiveness is truly impressive. It removes sebum well and wipes away makeup thoroughly. If you emulsify it properly, you might not even need a second cleanse - it's that effective. Now, you might think, 'If it cleanses so well, isn't it harsh?' But surprisingly, it's so gentle that even if it gets in your eyes, it doesn't sting at all. As someone with super sensitive skin, I've been using it without any blemishes. The texture, being a cleansing balm, isn't as light as a liquid cleanser, but it's not heavy either. It's just right for a cleansing balm. Some balms can feel overly oily, but I haven't experienced that with this product. I think it would work well for both dry and combination skin types. Everything's great, except for one thing - the scent. Some influencers advertised it as having an orange fragrance, but it's not the fresh, citrusy orange you might expect. It's more like... an orange mixed with oil? That was a bit disappointing. However, it's not so bad that it's unusable. I was surprised when I first opened it, but as I continued using it, I realized the scent isn't overpowering, so I'm still using it comfortably.
