It's incredibly hydrating and makes your skin look amazing. It's perfect to use before applying makeup. There wasn't anything I disliked about it. However, I find using toners directly can be a bit inconvenient, so I recommend transferring it to a Daiso spray bottle for easier application. It's gentle yet seems to have a calming effect. I'll likely use it consistently. There's nothing disappointing about it, but if I had to pick something, I'd say I buy it during sales due to the price. It's really light and gentle, which I love! I have a face that's prone to trouble, but using this has calmed it down! This is my absolute favorite product, and I've already used more than 3 bottles! In the mornings and evenings, I use the Hwahae 77 Toner when doing my toner pack routine! I used to have a lot of milia on my forehead, but after using this, I've seen a really significant improvement in reducing the milia. I'd highly recommend this to anyone who is concerned about milia! There weren't really any disappointing aspects, but since it is a toner, it doesn't have an extremely moisturizing effect, so it would be good to use a lotion or serum along with it. The Hwahae Testers recommend using the multi-layered cotton pads along with the Houttuynia cordata toner before your morning makeup routine. I'm on my third bottle of this toner. I've tried expensive department store toners and others in a similar price range, but this product strikes the perfect balance. It's reasonably priced, not too heavy, and not so light that it evaporates instantly. It's just the right consistency for a toner. I can't really find any downsides. The only minor inconvenience is that it only comes in a large bottle, so when traveling, I have to transfer it to a smaller container.

First off, 1. It's great for sensitive skin - absolutely no irritation (feels even gentler than Tru*** or D* toners). 2. The formula absorbs well into the skin. 3. No oiliness or greasiness even after hours. 4. It's perfect as a first toner step, no matter what serum or cream you use afterwards. No downsides for me. I noticed some mixed reviews, which might be due to houttuynia cordata not suiting everyone, but all skincare products with houttuynia cordata work well for me. When I'm busy, I use houttuynia cordata pads. Otherwise, I always layer this toner with Torriden serum + B-plane cream for a plump, makeup-ready complexion.
