This concealer looks way more natural than others, and it doesn't pill or separate your makeup! With other tip concealers, you could just dab and blend with a puff, but with this one, you have to clean the brush every time, which is a hassle. Unlike other concealers, this one seamlessly blends into your skin, creating a flawless finish without any pilling or separation. It's a game-changer for achieving that natural, "your skin but better" look. However, the brush application method, while potentially offering more precise coverage, does require more maintenance compared to the convenience of tip applicators. The need for frequent brush cleaning might be a drawback for those who prefer a quick and easy makeup routine. - le***********Dry SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJun 20, 2025
It absorbs really well, providing deep hydration that's perfect for dry weather conditions. For summer, it might be a bit too rich, so I'd recommend switching to a different product. I'm planning to use it again when fall comes around! For summer use, it's a bit too hydrating for my liking, which seems to cause some pilling on my skin. This moisturizer works hard to keep skin hydrated, making it ideal for cooler seasons. Its rich formula absorbs well into the skin, combating dryness effectively. However, during warmer months, its intense hydration might be too much for some skin types, potentially leading to issues like pilling. Consider this product as part of your seasonal skincare routine, perfect for fall and winter when your skin needs extra moisture. - sk*******Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 19, 2025
For those worried about creasing around the eyes, I highly recommend this product! The texture is perfectly moisturizing, making it ideal for applying under the eyes. It spreads easily when applied with fingers. The price is also quite reasonable! Unfortunately, it's not quite enough to cover my intense dark circles. It does conceal them slightly, but falls short of fully hiding them. For best results, apply this as a base layer, then lightly blend it with another concealer for a second, thin layer. - so*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedJun 13, 2025
This concealer's hydration is visible to the eye! Who knew a pot-type concealer could have such a moisturizing formula? Salmon-colored concealers are typically used to brighten dark under-eye circles and dull areas, right? However, pot-type concealers usually offer better coverage and a matte finish compared to liquid ones, which made them a bit tricky to use under the eyes. ✔️Hydrating ✔️Bright salmon color ✔️Generous amount ✔️Great value for money The Skinfood Salmon Dark Circle Concealer is truly hydrating. Just dab it under your eyes with a brush, and it naturally blends in, providing beautiful coverage. It's affordable and comes in a large quantity! Even after months of use, there's still plenty left since you only need a small amount on the brush. I think the value for money is really excellent! While I love everything about it, being in a pot means you have to consider hygiene and use a brush instead of your fingers, which can be a bit inconvenient. To be honest, I don't have any real complaints! Try applying it with a flat, thin brush. After picking up the product with the brush, lightly adjust the amount on the lid before applying. This will give you a thin, hydrating layer with great coverage! - lo***********Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRecommendedJun 9, 2025
I tried this because I've always been concerned about my dark circles! True to its name as a concealer cream, it applies smoothly without any pilling~~ However, the coverage isn't as high as I expected... So I usually apply a thin layer first, then follow up with a concealer pencil for a second layer of coverage - ke********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessRednessRecommendedMay 31, 2025
The adherence is truly exceptional, and it applies smoothly to the eye area without any creasing, keeping it wonderfully moisturized! It's fantastic as a base layer, and when you add a touch of concealer on top, it prevents any settling - absolutely brilliant! The ingredients are also great, so I didn't experience any blemishes! The coverage is slightly lacking, but for everyday use, it's absolutely perfect! - fg********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 29, 2025
It's thin and hydrating, so it applies smoothly without settling into fine lines around the eyes. The application is truly fantastic! I have quite noticeable dark circles, so I always need to conceal them. Other concealers often crease and separate, which is really frustrating. This one, however, glides on so nicely. I'm really enjoying using it! As it's soft and moisturizing, its coverage isn't as strong as other matte concealers. If you have very prominent dark circles, you might want to consider a second layer of coverage. Since my dark circles are quite pronounced, I find this alone isn't quite enough. My routine is to apply sunscreen first, then use this to lightly cover the entire eye area before my base makeup. I focus on the dark circles for extra coverage. After that, I apply my foundation. If I want even more coverage, I'll add the tiniest amount of another concealer on top. Using this as a base seems to prevent other products from creasing as much! - li***********Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresMay 23, 2025
It seems to have some effect in concealing dark circles, which is a plus. Perhaps due to the thin skin around my eyes, it tends to crease quite noticeably as time passes. I've found that using this as a base layer for coverage, then following up with a more hydrating concealer, helps reduce the creasing issue. - su********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 17, 2025
The pot-type concealer is the best for dark circles under my eyes. I've been using it for the first time, and it's amazing - it doesn't cake up even after applying it multiple times under my eyes, where dark circles keep appearing. However, the coverage is a bit low for blemishes, and it tends to peel off if you apply too much. I'd recommend using it specifically for dark circles. The price-to-capacity ratio is decent, and there are no issues arising, and there is nothing particularly problematic. Applying the product thinly in multiple layers using a brush works well!! - be*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMay 17, 2025
I bought it out of curiosity, but now I can't do without it. When I used regular concealer to cover dark areas, no matter how thinly I applied it, it would feel heavy, creasy, and uncomfortable. But this one doesn't have those issues! It's moisturizing, applies smoothly, and blends well with the base makeup. I usually use shade 21 for my base, and the reviews said the original color was too dark, so I bought shade 1 and it's perfect! The amount is generous, so I think it will last me for years! There's nothing in particular. I just hope it doesn't get discontinued... If I had to nitpick, the glass container is a little heavy.
