1. Softness I've only used liquid concealers before, but I heard solid ones have better staying power and coverage, so I decided to try this. Even though it's solid, the brush applies it incredibly smoothly, which I love. 2. Shade I have a deep autumn skin tone, and my skin is generally on the darker side. I usually use shade 22 for foundation, and this concealer matches perfectly. This is what I like most about it! Nothing negative yet, but I'm not sure if it provides better coverage than liquid concealers. It seems similar? The concealer brush glides on smoothly, making application a breeze. - a0****Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 11, 2025
After using it for a month, I'm impressed! It doesn't clog my pores and provides great coverage without darkening my skin. The only downside is that I wish there were more color options to choose from. - cj*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedApr 9, 2025
It naturally covers purple-tinted dark circles. I'm satisfied because it doesn't cause any blemishes or caking. The red-marked area shows my skin before application. As I've aged, not only do I have dark circles, but fat pockets have become more prominent, making me look constantly tired and dull. This cover cream has become essential for me. Even with just this cream applied, my complexion looks brighter. Unlike high-coverage creams that cake and make wrinkles more noticeable, this one brightens my skin tone while looking natural. I think I'll use it every time I go out. Understandably, a single cream can't perfectly cover dark circles caused by protruding fat pockets. The main benefit is that it makes the area look brighter compared to wearing nothing. After thoroughly moisturizing your base, apply very thin layers under the eyes multiple times. This creates a natural brightening effect that covers imperfections, significantly improving your overall complexion. - 8p********Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedMar 7, 2025
I bought this to cover dark circles, and I absolutely love it! While it may not have as much coverage as other concealers, it's so hydrating that it doesn't cake up!!! My under-eye area is dry and thin, so other concealers always looked patchy and unnatural. But this one? I think I'll be using it for life! There's not really anything bad, but if I had to nitpick, maybe the coverage...? Though honestly, I prefer how it covers naturally. Apply with a brush and control the amount on the cap before applying. - dm*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsMar 5, 2025
This product has been around for quite a while and is well-known. I used it back in my school days, and since it's become trendy again, I bought it without much thought. But oh boy, did it wreak havoc on my skin! My skin type suddenly changed after my late 20s, so it's no longer suitable for me. If you look at the ingredients, you'll see that the first one is notorious for causing acne, especially for oily skin. In fact, the first 5-6 ingredients are all concerning. It's my fault for buying it impulsively. I ended up with dermatitis and strange blemishes around my eyes. Avoid this if you have sensitive combination dehydrated skin, oily skin, or acne-prone skin. However, it might be okay if you're only using it under your eyes. There are some positives, though. It's quite moisturizing and has a suitable color for covering dark circles. It provides a first layer of coverage, and then you can follow up with a more opaque concealer for better results. 🚩 Skin profile: • Combination dehydrated skin, varies by area • Super sensitive skin • Produces excess oil • Prone to small bumps • Occasional itchy or painful blemishes • Frequent skin inflammation • Redness and dilated blood vessels due to steroid ointment use, resulting in very weakened skin condition Incompatible with: • High concentration centella asiatica products • Heavy formulas • Carrot pads • Dr.G cream • Cypress water-based products • Mediheal tea tree ampoule • Overly oily or nourishing products • Shea butter • Orange oil • Sage oil • Silicones • Dimethicone • Pore-clogging ingredients (still researching) Tip: For dark circles, use a product with a toned-down shade that matches the darkness. - ji*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedFeb 19, 2025
I have severe discoloration around my eyes due to atopic dermatitis (a friend I hadn't seen in a while even asked if I had bruises...), but this concealer covers it quite naturally, which I love. While it doesn't provide 100% coverage, I'm satisfied with how it covers without drying out my skin and maintains a natural look. No complaints! It would be great if this concealer came in other shades besides salmon pink. - fd********Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedFeb 4, 2025
There's no better concealer for dark circles. The skin around the eyes is thin, so it's best to use a concealer with a rich texture. There are no downsides. It doesn't cause any blemishes or irritation, and the amount is generous. I've probably been using this for years now. - is**********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedJan 18, 2025
This concealer is wonderfully hydrating, so it definitely doesn't settle into fine lines. I really like that! The coverage isn't particularly good, and since it's such a moisturizing product, it gets way too shiny unless you set it with powder. - ib******Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsWrinkles/ElasticityRecommendedJan 2, 2025
I've been using this since December 14th. I bought it after it was recommended for dark circle coverage. Compared to regular concealers, it has better coverage and adherence, staying put without fading. I've tried it over brightening moisturizer on my dark circles, blemishes, and discoloration areas - it's particularly effective at masking blemishes and discoloration. I was worried the pearlescent finish might make the concealed areas stand out, but when I apply it thinly with a cotton swab, even two or three layers look natural. The shade runs a bit dark, so I recommend buying one shade lighter. While it provides natural coverage, the darker color makes it slightly inadequate for covering discoloration. I'm considering buying a lighter shade to mix or use alone. For dark circles, it doesn't cover as well as it does for blemishes or discoloration, possibly due to the shade. However, I'm satisfied with how it doesn't settle into under-eye wrinkles. Surprisingly, it even provides a bit of wrinkle coverage. Rather than applying with fingers, using a cotton swab to gently pat and spread a thin layer gives natural coverage without settling into wrinkles. - ch********Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedDec 28, 2024
Despite my deep under-eye wrinkles, this product didn't accentuate them at all. When applied, it feels like a nourishing cream but goes on in a thin, even layer. The color is darker than expected, which actually made it look more natural. There's nothing particularly bad, but those with very fair skin might find this shade a bit too dark for their complexion.
