It's a warm pink that I think would suit both warm and cool skin tones. It reminds me of strawberry juice - so cute! I find myself reaching for it often as it complements any makeup look. Depending on how you layer it, you can achieve anything from a soft, delicate pink to a vibrant pop of color. Mix it with a slightly cool fuchsia pink for a cooler tone, or blend it with a coral pink for a warmer look. The glossy finish is beautiful and gives a plumping effect to the lips. (The plumping sensation is pleasantly subtle, not too intense.) The shine has a smooth, coating effect, though it doesn't last extremely long, so it's best to carry it with you for touch-ups. To be fair, most melting balms are like this, but with pricier products, it can feel like you're applying a dollar's worth each time - yikes! The Sephora product is reasonably priced, so you can reapply without worry. Compared to Hourglass, the glow fades a bit quicker, which is slightly disappointing... but considering the price difference, it's still a great value!
