I was looking to buy an eyelash serum and came across a set that included both a clear and a black serum. I thought using them together would be beneficial, so I decided to purchase it. What attracted me most was that the black serum could be used as a mascara alternative. I was hoping it would be less irritating than regular mascara while still helping my lashes grow longer. First off, I experienced no eye irritation whatsoever, and it was easy to remove. My eyes felt very comfortable throughout use. Even after long hours out and about, it didn't smudge at all. Using both the clear and black serums together, I noticed my lashes became stronger and less prone to falling out! Due to my straight lashes, the curling effect wasn't as strong as I'd hoped. After curling my lashes and applying the black serum, they would droop not long after. I found a workaround by curling my lashes, applying the black serum, letting it dry slightly until my lashes stiffened, and then curling again. This improved the curl retention, but it still didn't match the effect of a regular mascara. Since it's essentially a serum, I didn't expect it to curl and lengthen as well as a mascara would.
