  Pros

  As someone with oily skin, I found this serum disappointing as it didn't offer any benefits for my skin type. I had high expectations after trying their foam cleanser, but unfortunately, this serum just didn't work for me.

  Cons

  I suspect this serum is exclusively designed for those with dry skin. As someone with extremely oily skin, I simply can't use this product. When applied, it feels slippery and suffocating, and by the next day, I notice blemishes appearing. While the ingredients list looks impressive and I really wanted to make it work, it's just not compatible with my skin type. Such a shame!

  Pros

  First off, the ingredients are truly excellent. I highly recommend this for those trying niacinamide for the first time. When I initially used a 10% concentration, it was too harsh and uncomfortable. However, this product contains 4%, allowing me to use it without any skin irritation. It also provides great hydration, so I'd recommend it for those with dry skin.

  Cons

  This product has a rich texture, so those with oily skin might want to use it sparingly. I have dry skin, but applying too much felt a bit heavy. Also, I didn't notice any significant brightening effects, likely due to the lower concentration. This seems to be more of an introductory product for first-time niacinamide users. If you're after strong brightening results, you might want to opt for a higher concentration. The main drawback is the rather steep price. While the ingredients are top-notch, the cost is a bit prohibitive. There are similar products with good ingredients at more wallet-friendly prices, so I might not stick exclusively to this one.

  Tip

  I recommend applying this after retinol or vitamin C products for a non-drying skincare routine.
