The oil lip balm made the rough and dry parts of my lips noticeably softer, and the dead skin peeled off nicely, which I liked. Also, with the stick-type lip balms, I was bothered by the tint color that would rub off on my lips after applying them outside. But the Kiehl's lip balm is in a tube form, so I didn't have to worry about that, which I appreciated.
