True to its name, it's a gel cream. It's closer to a lightweight hydrating cream. The standout feature of this product is its cooling effect. Among all the moisturizers I've tried, this one has the top-tier cooling sensation - almost on par with aloe vera gel. Perhaps because of this, it seemed to have a soothing effect as well! Being a gel cream, it lacked significant moisturizing power. While it calmed my skin, the lack of hydration meant that after the initial soothing effect, my skin would become dry again, bringing me back to square one. I don't have extremely dry skin, but I do have sensitive skin that requires a balance of oil and moisture. For me, this would be perfect to use from early to mid-summer. For those who find the hydration insufficient, you might want to layer it with a moisturizing cream according to your preference. I often do aloe packs, so I replaced the aloe with this product. After the pack, I finished with a thin layer of moisturizing cream, and it worked wonderfully! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinOct 22, 2024
It's fantastic for calming heat sensations! When I won The Hwahae Testers selection, I had an insect bite on my leg that spread like an allergic reaction with intense heat. Applying this gradually soothed it. My skin had turned red or purple, but it slowly calmed down, which was a huge help. I'm so grateful I received it at just the right time! During seasonal changes, when I occasionally experience facial heat, applying this helps it subside after a short while. I think I'll use it a lot during seasonal transitions when heat flares up, in summer when it's too hot, or in winter in front of the heater! For those with combination dehydrated skin, the texture feels really nice - it's moderately hydrating without being too rich or sticky, leaving a comfortable finish. The scent is almost non-existent... There's a faint, unique smell like a mild ointment or herbs. But really, there's hardly any fragrance at all. This could actually be an advantage for those with fragrance allergies or sensitivities. Since I'm using it as a soothing product, I'm going to consider the lack of scent as a plus! It works best when applied thickly to areas with heat sensations! I usually don't bother with sheet masks, but when I layer this on generously, it really calms my skin. If you keep applying it whenever heat flares up, your skin becomes beautifully clear! - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
The gel-cream texture and soothing effect are fantastic! As the seasons change, do you find yourself mixing your moisturizer with a bit of cream or oil because moisturizer alone isn't enough? (I do!) This product has exactly that texture. The effects are just as impressive. It provides hydration and a calming effect that's neither too light nor too heavy. It feels like it creates a protective layer on your skin, and the effects last all day long. When you apply it in the morning and touch your face at night, you can still feel it working. It may cause some pilling with makeup. The aluminum container has a rather wide opening, which can make it difficult to control the amount of product you dispense. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinOct 21, 2024
I've been loving this product lately as the final step in my skincare routine. It's perfect for this season, offering both hydration and skin-soothing benefits. It's great to use before makeup - it doesn't pill or leave my skin feeling dry. The cooling effect is amazing, especially after a workout when my face feels hot. It absorbs quickly without leaving any sticky or uncomfortable residue. It really works hard to keep my skin feeling fresh and balanced! The metal packaging can be a bit problematic. If you squeeze it too hard, the edges can become sharp, and the paint might chip off. This makes me worry about it potentially bursting open or causing injury if I carry it in my bag or makeup pouch. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
First off, I was totally impressed by how sleek the packaging looked when I opened it. I expected the product to be thick like an ointment, but when I squeezed it out, it had more of a hydrating cream texture, which was a pleasant surprise. I loved that it wasn't too heavy. The instant cooling effect when applied was amazing - it felt so soothing! What I appreciated most, being sensitive to fragrances, is that this Ceraclinic Hydration Gel Cream is unscented. The absorbs well is fantastic too - it glides on smoothly without pilling and absorbs instantly. With hyaluronic acid and panthenol, it's great for both calming the skin and boosting hydration. It's a real multitasker, so I highly recommend it! The only downside is that while I'd like to squeeze out just the right amount from the tube, it's a bit tricky to control. It can be a bit inconvenient to get the product out when the tube is nearly full. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinOct 21, 2024
It's a lightweight, soothing moisturizer. Feels gentle enough that it shouldn't cause any blemishes. For me, it wasn't quite enough for my face, so I had to apply another cream on top. Also, while the packaging might be eco-friendly, it's not very user-friendly. I suspect the surface will start peeling off later on... I've been using it on my back. It's not too heavy, just the right amount of hydration, making it perfect for managing back acne. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 21, 2024
Light and bouncy, it feels like a hydrating cream. True to its name 'gel cream', the texture is a blend of gel and cream. It gives a delightfully moisturizing sensation that's refreshing to the skin. The hydration level is wonderfully dewy. There's hardly any noticeable scent, just a fresh gel cream aroma, if anything. Perhaps due to its cool packaging, the gel cream itself feels cool too. It seems even more refreshing when it touches the skin. Because of this, it appears to be great for soothing the skin. I applied it generously at night, and there were no blemishes. It's passed the low-irritation test and the soothing/cooling effect test. Oh, as expected! It also adds a nice glow and keeps the skin hydrated. 60ml is quite a generous amount. While some other cosmetics have oversized packaging compared to the product volume, this one is compact, just the right size for the product. The tube format makes it super convenient. It's been a while since I've seen the manufacturer Korea Kolmar - they're well-known. Ingredient-wise, glycerin is the first on the list. It also contains squalane, panthenol, and tocopherol - lots of skin-friendly ingredients. I can't really think of any particular downsides. Is it priced at 28,000 won? Like a sleeping pack, if you apply it generously at night before bed, you can still feel the moisturizing effect when you wake up in the morning. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
1. First off, it's fragrance-free! 2. It has a gel texture but doesn't finish sticky, so it doesn't cause pilling when applying makeup! (If you experience pilling, make sure you've patted it in enough for proper absorption.) 3. It doesn't cause blemishes! / It seems to have a soothing effect too? (I was using this alone, but once when I tried it with the Isoi Blemish Care Serum, I started to break out. I immediately went back to using just this, and my skin cleared up as if nothing had happened.) 4. It keeps skin hydrated until fall, though I'm not sure about deep winter yet. (Even though my lips are already chapped and in chaos!) Overall: Much more satisfying than the Physiogel gel type! There are no notable downsides! That's why it seems good for everyday, fuss-free use! I haven't yet found the right combination with other skincare products to fully showcase its performance alone. Remember to control the amount you use? - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 21, 2024
The texture is a soft gel cream that balances oil and moisture well. It has a cooling effect, making it great for soothing and as a pre-makeup base! It's fragrance-free and generally feels gentle, so I found it fine to apply generously even when my skin was acting up. I'd especially recommend it for combination dehydrated or oily skin types during seasonal changes. The aluminum packaging might be prone to bursting if you're carrying it around. If you don't need to travel with it, it's an environmentally friendly choice. (As a characteristic of aluminum containers, some product may clump around the lid opening, but it doesn't leak!) When used generously as a sleeping mask, it's not sticky at all, and the next morning my skin felt plump and firm. The hydration doesn't feel like it's evaporating, so I was satisfied with how long the moisture lasted. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinOct 20, 2024
Despite being a gel type, it absorbs well without feeling sticky. When applied before bed, you wake up with skin feeling plump and firm. It provides a refreshing hydration and seems to have excellent soothing properties as well. The cream's dispensing opening is quite large, making it difficult to control the amount. Apart from that, its performance is good.
