The best part is how well it brightens the skin! And most importantly, it doesn't cause any irritation, which is great! However, while it seems to apply smoothly without pilling for those with really good skin, I have acne-prone skin, and when I used this product, it felt extremely drying. It also looked patchy, pilled, and severely emphasized my dead skin cells. So I don't plan to repurchase it... Nevertheless, I think it could work well for those with flawless skin! This review highlights the importance of considering your skin type when choosing skincare products. What works for one person may not work for another, especially if you have sensitive or acne-prone skin. It's always a good idea to patch test new products and consult with a dermatologist if you have specific skin concerns. - dm******Combination SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedMay 3, 2025
This base is fantastic! I mix it with sunscreen when I'm not wearing makeup, and it's truly amazing. The brightening effect is top-notch! The only downside is that it can be a bit drying, so you need to apply a good moisturizer underneath for the best results. - wl********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 26, 2025
I found it less drying than I expected. I wanted to buy a purple sun base, and I'm satisfied with this one. The only downside is the price point... Other than that, I'm completely satisfied. - ey****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedNov 10, 2024
Brightens complexion Less drying compared to how much it brightens Would've been better in summer, not great for this weather Looks pretty as it fades Update++++ My cheeks are really dry with combination dehydrated skin, but after changing my finishing cream, it stays hydrated for a long time with amazing lasting power. As time passes, a subtle glow emerges from the skin - it's heavenly! The brightening effect lasts incredibly well When I wear just this, my mom says I look pretty haha Absolutely possible to go foundation-free!!!! ***********Update Oh, it has pore-blocking ingredients? No wonder I get small bumps when I use only this;; Nothing bad to say. If it doesn't suit you, try changing your skincare routine Try using it with Rosie Posie - it's pure bliss I've been obsessed with brightening moisturizers even before the foundation-free trend, and this one is truly amazing - dt********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedOct 8, 2024
- It provides excellent brightening with just a small amount! A little goes a long way - just dab it on and spread for surprisingly good coverage. - No greasy feeling after application! One reason I dislike sunscreens is the oily sensation that can lead to breakouts, but this one doubles as a base and doesn't feel greasy at all. - No pilling with makeup! As mentioned, it's not oily and has low oil content, so it doesn't cause makeup to pill like other sunscreens might. - It might be a bit drying in winter. You'll need a solid skincare routine underneath, and it can settle slightly into fine lines. - When I first applied it, there was a slight tingling sensation that made me wonder if it suited my skin. I did get one or two blemishes, but no more appeared after that, so I'm going to keep using it for a while longer. Make sure to have a strong skincare base! Apply sparingly on areas with more fine lines! It's important to control the amount you use!
