The fresh, centella-like scent was really enjoyable during application. It absorbs well, and you can feel the hydration immediately after applying.
ConsThe serum has a somewhat high viscosity, and its lasting power could be better. It may vary from person to person, but I noticed my skin feeling slightly dry after about two hours.
TipApplying this serum after your toner or essence seems to enhance its moisturizing effects.

Cons✓ The scent is a bit unusual - it's somewhat cooling and reminds me of sikhye (a sweet rice drink). ✓ When first applied, the texture feels like it's sitting on top of the skin.
Tip✓ Since it absorbs quickly and well, layering it multiple times could be even more beneficial!

My skin is super sensitive, so I always check the ingredients before using any cosmetics. I noticed it contains some components that could potentially irritate sensitive skin, so I was a bit worried before using it. Fortunately, it didn't cause any severe reactions while I was using it. The scent is what you might think of as a subtle, herbal aroma!
ConsIf I had to point out a downside, it would be that I didn't see much effect in terms of skin soothing. It's just average - which could be seen as both a pro and a con. I'm usually very particular about cleanliness when applying skincare products. I wash my hands and let them air dry before application to avoid any contamination. However, perhaps due to the Centella Asiatica extract, it felt like there was something residual on my hands. As someone who dislikes that sensation, it was disappointing. But it's not bad for the skin, so if you're not bothered by this, it should be fine!
TipFor those with very dry skin like mine, try applying 2-3 thin layers. This layering technique should help prevent any feeling of dryness.

There's no noticeable scent, and it absorbs quickly. As the season was changing, my skin had become rough, but after applying this, it felt soft and smooth. Even my elbows became silky! It seems great for managing dry areas on the body too. I appreciate that the key ingredients are listed with their ppm values - it really builds trust in the product.
ConsThere's not much to complain about, except maybe the size? It's a bit small. Since it's starting to get dry this time of year, I feel like I might use it up quickly.

It was just pleasant enough to use comfortably. The texture was surprisingly not too thin, and rather than being sticky, it felt like a mix between a soothing gel and an ampoule. This made it easy to apply without dripping, which I really appreciated. With the weather turning cold suddenly and my skin going through seasonal changes, I've been experiencing a lot of dead skin cells and a weakened skin barrier. So, I've been layering this ampoule twice during my evening skincare routine. When I wake up, my skin feels much more soothed, and I can see that my skin texture has become softer. It seems like the effects were noticeable even after just one use!
ConsWhile the product itself was effective, the finish felt a bit dry. Using it just once didn't seem to address deep dryness, which was somewhat disappointing.
TipFor those who prefer a more rich finish, try layering it two or three times, or use it as a toner pack by soaking a cotton pad generously and leaving it on your skin for about 5 minutes before continuing with your skincare routine. The soothing effect is top-notch!

I have to carefully check ingredient lists for everything I use. (My skin is currently in a state of total chaos!) Product texture - I love that it's not runny like water, but has a bit more viscosity like an ampoule! It feels more like an ampoule than a serum! There are Centella asiatica leaves floating inside, but you can't feel them at all when applying, so don't worry about any grittiness! It feels incredibly hydrating when applied, but once absorbed, it's non-sticky and clean. The finish is quite unique! It's clean without any residue, yet doesn't feel dry... Since I have extremely dry skin, one layer feels a bit insufficient, so I apply two layers! Highly recommended for oily skin types! Also strongly recommended for those with irritated skin who can't tolerate heavy products!! Scent - Some people dislike scented products, but personally, I enjoy products with a subtle fragrance. This one has a faint, distinctive scent - maybe it's the Centella or the cica? It's subtle enough that even those sensitive to fragrances should be able to use it comfortably! Ingredients - I was worried because there were three red-flagged ingredients, but surprisingly, my skin didn't react at all. Instead, it actually soothed my skin!! I was just hoping it wouldn't cause any issues due to the ingredients, but it actually calmed my skin, which was amazing. User experience - Usually, when I apply products with cica or Centella, they cause blemishes, so I have many unused products. However, this was the only cica/Centella product that actually soothed my angry skin!! It's non-sticky and doesn't cause pilling under makeup, making it great to use! Packaging - I think packaging is important when considering a product! I liked how clean and simple this one is. The dropper doesn't suck up too much serum at once, which might seem like a drawback, but it actually helps you use the right amount of product! Overall: 1. A serum with an ampoule-like texture that applies smoothly and cleanly, perfect for soothing 2. Non-sticky and doesn't cause makeup to pill 3. Great for year-round use, especially suitable for summer 4. Easy to use even for those who dislike fragrances 5. No blemishes during use, actually soothed my skin - I'm using it very happily
ConsThere's nothing to complain about, but it's not available for purchase on Hwahae yet. I wish I could buy it through Hwahae!
TipWhen your skin is irritated, it's better to focus on soothing rather than applying too many products. I found that layering the Dot Solution serum twice and then applying just a moisturizer really helped calm my skin by the next day!

It's like they've packed all the good stuff into one product. I was super excited even before using it! After using it morning and night for two weeks, here's what I've noticed: Texture: Between a gel and a liquid consistency. It flows well but has enough viscosity not to drip when applied to the face. Packaging: A hygienic dropper type that makes it easy to control the amount. Absorption: It absorbs quickly after spreading it a few times, leaving the skin feeling fresh and hydrated. Though it's getting cooler now, I imagine it would feel quite refreshing when applied after cleansing in summer. Overall impression: Back to basics is best! This product stays true to the essentials. You can layer it multiple times without feeling heavy or sticky. It leaves your skin moisturized, making it an excellent hydrating serum!
ConsThe only downside is... occasionally you might feel a centella leaf while applying, which can be a bit odd. But I suppose that's the trade-off for its excellent soothing properties!
TipI mix it with aloe gel and use it as a mask. It's perfect for soothing the skin during this changing season!

While you might expect a strong herbal scent, it's actually quite subtle - a sweet, vegetal aroma that's quite pleasant. - While I'm not sure about the cooling and soothing effects from the ingredients themselves, it doesn't provide an immediate cooling sensation like aloe gel when applied to the skin. - I'm satisfied with its hydrating and calming properties. It feels moisturizing and seems to help speed up blemish healing.
ConsAlthough it's marketed as cooling and soothing, I couldn't feel an immediate cooling effect when applied to the skin.

You can see the centella asiatica leaves, but they don't interfere with application. Scent: It has the subtle, characteristic scent of cica products. As the temperature fluctuations increased, my skin became rough and dehydrated - the very definition of 'dry skin'. My makeup wasn't adhering well, but after applying this serum, my skin instantly felt hydrated and my makeup went on smoothly. The texture is firm yet not sticky, making it pleasant to use. With its gentle ingredients, this product is mild enough even for my super sensitive skin, causing no tingling sensation.
ConsThe dropper is quite firm, making it a bit challenging to dispense the ampoule (comparatively speaking).

It gives a feeling of deeply moisturizing the skin with a rich texture. As you can see in the photo, the formula has a consistency that doesn't easily run off. As someone who loves layering serums generously, I applied about three layers morning and night for three consecutive days without much thought. Initially, I was extremely satisfied with how well it moisturized my skin and addressed deep dryness. However, after waking up one morning, I noticed several blemishes on my nose that looked like small infections. They were red and painful when touched or pressed. After stopping the serum for two days and taking care of my skin, the issue has mostly subsided. I think I may have applied too much, so I reduced it to one layer, which seems to work fine. It's still providing better hydration than before. For oily areas like my forehead and nose, it's important to carefully control the amount applied. Since adjusting the quantity, my skin has been doing well! In fact, it seems to be improving, so I'm satisfied with continued use. The amount of product is sufficient. Since the formula isn't too watery, a small amount can cover a large area, meaning the product will last longer than expected! From this perspective, it's a cost-effective cosmetic.
ConsThere weren't any downsides other than needing to adjust the amount according to your skin type.
TipApply in thin layers for best results.
