My pore concerns deepened, so I was thrilled to win this product I'd been wanting to try. Unlike other serums that are usually thin, the Different Pore Serum has a thick consistency. It's also nearly fragrance-free, making it comfortable to use without overwhelming scents. As for the feel, true to the product description, even a small amount caused a slight tingling sensation. This tingling continued when I applied and absorbed the emulsion on top, but it wasn't particularly uncomfortable. However, if you have super sensitive skin, it's best to patch test somewhere other than your face first! It's too early to tell if my pores have become more elastic, but I can feel my skin texture becoming smoother, so I plan to keep using it consistently. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I often get flaky during seasonal changes when wearing makeup. But while using this product, I've hardly noticed any dead skin cells, which makes me feel like my skin texture is improving. My skin got a bit darker during summer, so I'm also hoping for some complexion improvement.
ConsBecause the formula is so thick, it doesn't come up easily through the dropper. I find myself having to press it multiple times to get the desired amount. It's a bit frustrating that I can't get the right quantity in one go.
TipThe detailed instructions emphasized the importance of moisturizing after using the serum. So, I followed up with a rich emulsion and then a hydrating cream before bed. I think this routine really enhanced the skin texture improvement effects!

The texture is more viscous than a typical serum - I'd say it's like a moisturizing emulsion with a sticky consistency. The Spicule Shot is white in color and has a scent similar to other skincare products, though it's hard to pinpoint exactly what it smells like. Since it's focused on reducing pore size, I felt a slight tingling sensation when applying, similar to but milder than the Lix Shot 100 (it was more of a 'Wait, did I just feel something?' kind of sensation). The tingling only lasted during application and absorption. However, those with thin or sensitive skin might find it more intense than I did! It's meant to be used morning and night, and the instructions emphasize following up with moisturizer and sunscreen when going out. The product page recommends a soothing cream, but since I ran out, I used a panthenol cream instead.
ConsThe Spicule Shot's thick consistency makes it difficult to draw up with the dropper. It would be great if they could improve the suction power of the dropper.
