The dropper format seemed quite hygienic too. ‼️Scent‼️ Firstly, it's fragrance-free, which is great for those with sensitive skin who want to avoid any potential irritation. ‼️User Experience‼️ When applied, it felt a bit tingly - perhaps due to my large pores. It wasn't unbearable though, and I convinced myself it was working to tighten my pores. The sensation quickly subsided, so it wasn't a major issue. My oily-skinned friend mentioned a slight tingling upon application, but was pleased that it controlled oil production better than other products. ‼️Texture‼️ The texture is just right - it doesn't run down your face immediately when applied, but if left alone, it slowly glides down.
ConsIf I had to pick a downside, it would be the slight tingling sensation upon application. If you have any open blemishes, I'd recommend applying a patch first before using this product.

There's hardly any scent, which made it pleasant to apply. When I use this product at night and wake up in the morning, my skin feels incredibly hydrated! After cleansing, my skin feels smooth and moisturized without any dry, rough patches. As someone with dry skin, I was very satisfied!
ConsThe spicules make it extremely tingly... This was my first time using a micro-needle ampoule, and it was really irritating for my sensitive, extremely dry skin. The tingling sensation intensified as I rubbed it in, following the direction of application. The more I rubbed, the more I felt the tingling! Although I could feel the discomfort, my skin didn't look irritated at all! It didn't turn red and seemed fine. Even after applying emulsion on top, the tingling remained the same. I thought patting it might help, but it still tingled just as much. I was worried about the next day, but if you can endure this sensation, your skin becomes incredibly moisturized and soft! As I have sensitive skin, I used this product every 2-3 days, and it worked well! If it were less irritating, I'd definitely repurchase it.
TipIf you apply the ampoule and emulsion after cleansing before bed, you'll wake up with really hydrated skin. Even though I have sensitive skin, I only felt the tingling sensation - my skin looked completely fine! I highly recommend this for those with dry skin and uneven skin texture!

It doesn't flow easily. • Application: Despite its texture, it spreads easily with a hydrating feel. • Packaging: The thin dropper helps dispense the right amount, which is ideal as you only need to use a small quantity. • Ingredients: High glycerin content provides excellent moisturizing properties. It contains significant amounts of niacinamide, retinal, panthenol, and allantoin, which are effective for pore care, strengthening the skin barrier, and hydration.
Cons• Sensation: While I didn't experience irritation with single-ingredient niacinamide products, this one caused a stinging sensation and irritation when applied. • Post-use experience: Right after the first application, my skin felt very tingly and broke out. Even when tested on the back of my hand, it caused a stinging sensation. Those with super sensitive skin should use this product with caution.
TipAlthough the ingredients may potentially cause irritation, it might be beneficial to start by mixing small amounts with your basic skincare products. As your skin adapts, you can gradually increase the quantity. These are ingredients that require consistent, long-term use rather than short-term application to see results.

Texture: It's like a cross between an essence and an emulsion. Scent: There's a very subtle, typical skincare fragrance. Application: On first use, it felt like applying a regular emulsion. But after exfoliating, I noticed a slight tingling sensation. For combination dehydrated skin, it absorbs well and feels refreshing. As someone prone to dead skin cells, I'm used to exfoliating twice a week followed by applying Retinol 300. Using this instead of the 300 was less tingly, but areas with blemishes felt more sensitive than with my usual retinol shot. There's a slight burning sensation, so those with sensitive skin should be cautious. Results: While I'm not sure about the brightening effects, I noticed improved pore appearance and overall skin texture! Packaging: The dropper is the most frustrating part. At first use, I thought it was defective as no product came out. You need to tilt it at an angle to dispense the product. A pump or transparent container would have been better.
ConsUnlike any other product I've used, this caused a slight itching sensation when applied to the back of my hand. I always used it for night care, but it seemed to irritate my blemishes, so I had to apply it selectively to certain areas.

Texture ★★★ Thicker than Dokdo Emulsion but thinner than Soon Jung Cream, it's not the typical consistency you'd expect from a serum. Products with spicules and liposome shots tend to be on the thicker side. Absorption ★★★★★ Perhaps due to the spicules, it absorbs exceptionally well even when using 7 drops at once. Impressive how it leaves skin feeling so soft with this consistency and ingredients. Ingredients ★★★ Great to see beneficial ingredients like spicules, panthenol, ceramides, and peptides. However, it's disappointing to see some extracts in insignificant amounts towards the end of the list. While writing this review, I realized the Twenty Kay Collagen Cream is heavenly! Effectiveness ★★★★★ The spicules seem to enhance penetration of active ingredients and speed up skin regeneration. Dead skin cells shed much faster, resulting in firmer and brighter skin. Value for Money ★★★★ Considering it contains spicules, it's reasonably priced.
ConsPackaging Design ★★☆ Despite its thicker consistency, the dropper packaging causes overflow at the bottle's neck when inserting the dropper. Dropper bottles seem more suitable for thinner serums. Hydration ★ Despite being a high-performance product with spicules and intended for oily skin, it can't be used alone as a serum. Recommend using with a moisturizing cream.
TipAs a high-performance product containing spicules, it can be a bit drying. Don't use it alone - apply an additional product that locks in moisture!

Just think of it as a slightly refreshing fragrance! As soon as I used it, I felt an intense tingling sensation, which really made the 'Spicule Shot' name hit home. It made me feel like it might be even more effective because of that...? After using it, I felt like my pores were somewhat filled in and my skin texture seemed more refined, which I absolutely loved!!! To be honest, I haven't been keen on repurchasing products from The Hwahae Testers, but this one made me want to buy it again :) I have very deep pores, so it's unrealistic to expect them to improve completely, but seeing how it seemed to temporarily fill them in, I think it could be quite effective for those with shallower pores! The texture feels just like a cream. However, the inconvenient part is that despite being a cream formulation, it comes out through a dropper, so it's a bit thick...? It doesn't come out easily, so you need to really draw it up well...
ConsAs I mentioned above, the fact that it's a cream formulation but comes out through a dropper, requiring you to really draw it up, is a bit disappointing.

It wasn't unbearable, but rather interestingly stimulating? The experience might vary for others. The texture feels like an essence - not sticky at all, and the scent is pleasantly mild. It spreads easily and absorbs well! I've been using it for about a week, and while I'm not sure about its effects on pores, I feel like my skin texture has improved somehow! I'll need to use it longer to be certain, but so far I'm satisfied.
ConsThe dropper... At first, I thought it was defective. It works too well, or maybe I'm just not using it correctly. After continued use, it does work better than on the first day, but still... I wish it could be replaced. I think I'd like it even more then!

It absorbs incredibly fast when applied, which is great. The scent is reminiscent of cypress wood(?), creating a soothing aroma that doesn't cause any discomfort. As someone with very dry skin, I appreciate how it keeps my skin hydrated for a long time.
ConsI experienced a tingling sensation when using it on bare skin without toner. The product's dispenser was extremely inconvenient to use.
TipThere's a slight tingling when applied, but it's less noticeable if you use it after your toner has fully absorbed into your skin.

My face and neck are more sensitive to pain compared to other areas, which probably contributed to that. The texture wasn't greasy, felt light, and had a hydrating feel, so it wasn't burdensome and I liked it! I was also very satisfied that it had almost no scent! The acne scars on my cheeks filled in more than I expected. My skin is sensitive and usually reacts badly to laser treatments, but I can see the indented areas on my cheeks filling in without any issues, so I find myself looking in the mirror often!
ConsI thought the dropper was broken! I was really flustered when the product wouldn't draw up into the dropper. I applied the product all over my face except around the eyes and mouth. While it worked better than expected on the indented scars on my cheeks, it caused small blemishes to appear on my nose. For some reason, I haven't seen any effects on the pores on my nose yet!
TipAfter using this product, I used a regenerating ampoule and a hydrating moisturizer! I also took collagen supplements! It was incredibly effective on the indented marks on my cheeks! As the scars fill in with new skin, I'm enjoying looking in the mirror! Once I finish this, I'll be buying it again with my own money!

The scent is just a typical emulsion fragrance (I'm quite sensitive to smells, but this wasn't overwhelming or unpleasant at all). As for the application, I only applied it on my cheeks with large pores, nose, and above the upper lip. My cheeks barely tingled, but the area above my upper lip (which has sensitive skin) felt a bit tingly. To be honest, as a beginner who hasn't even tried Retinol, I had an exfoliating toner ready in case it was too irritating and I needed to wipe it off. But it just felt like a very small, subtle tingling sensation. It's not like your whole face stings, just a couple of spots on the cheeks (I'm not sure why, maybe it's just where the pores are larger?). Even a scaredy-cat like me managed to use it (for reference, I have combination dehydrated skin but not sensitive). However, since there is a slight tingling sensation, those with super sensitive skin should be careful. Oh, and when I was applying it on my cheeks, I accidentally got some on a small blemish, but it didn't hurt much. I was worried the blemish might get worse, but it was fine the next day!
ConsThe pump doesn't work... Even after pumping 3 times, nothing comes out. At first, I thought it was defective, but it finally dispenses product on about the 6th pump. I'm not sure why it's like this...
TipDon't apply it around your eyes. I used a gentle exfoliating toner pad before applying this, but if you have super sensitive skin, even an exfoliating toner might be irritating. So it might be better to just pat on your regular toner with your hands or apply this after completing all your basic skincare steps. If I feel like my skin isn't in good condition or is feeling sensitive, I plan to use it every other day. I hope my pores will be significantly reduced after a month of use!
