Texture: It's like a cross between an essence and an emulsion. Scent: There's a very subtle, typical skincare fragrance. Application: On first use, it felt like applying a regular emulsion. But after exfoliating, I noticed a slight tingling sensation. For combination dehydrated skin, it absorbs well and feels refreshing. As someone prone to dead skin cells, I'm used to exfoliating twice a week followed by applying Retinol 300. Using this instead of the 300 was less tingly, but areas with blemishes felt more sensitive than with my usual retinol shot. There's a slight burning sensation, so those with sensitive skin should be cautious. Results: While I'm not sure about the brightening effects, I noticed improved pore appearance and overall skin texture! Packaging: The dropper is the most frustrating part. At first use, I thought it was defective as no product came out. You need to tilt it at an angle to dispense the product. A pump or transparent container would have been better.
ConsUnlike any other product I've used, this caused a slight itching sensation when applied to the back of my hand. I always used it for night care, but it seemed to irritate my blemishes, so I had to apply it selectively to certain areas.
