No excess powder and sets well as an eyeshadow Application: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Longevity: ⭐️⭐️ Color payoff: ⭐️⭐️ Why I bought it: I was browsing Daiso and saw this new collab with Merzy. It's been trending lately, so I thought the pink and salmon shades would be safe choices. I picked up the ones I'd use most often. Take a look and decide for yourself! Design: The packaging screams Daiso, but the product design is quite sleek. It has a red body with a black brush. Color: 01 Clear Pink has a strawberry milk hue. It's a cool-toned shade with subtle white pearls. 02 Soft Salmon has a salmon color with gold pearls. Both have a pearlescent finish, which can make eyes look a bit puffy when used alone as eyeshadow. It might come across as slightly dated. Compared to Too Cool For School, these are definitely brighter with more noticeable shimmer. Features: It applies smoothly without settling into eye wrinkles. The brush is thick and coarse, which can remove makeup when used on eyes and skin. I don't recommend using it. How it looks on eyes: 01 Clear Pink gives a subtle white pearl, strawberry milk effect. 02 Soft Salmon appears as a salmon shade with fine gold shimmer. Both have fine pearls and set well, allowing for precise application. The colors match the website swatches closely. Longevity: Not bad, but it does fade on the eyelid crease. Pros: True-to-color payoff and good setting power Skin type of the reviewer: Shade 22, neutral tone, spring bright warm undertone Unfortunately, the colors can make eyes look puffy and have limited versatility.
