It absorbs well and the staying power is impressive considering the cost. The blunt tip makes it a bit inconvenient to use, as it tends to draw thick lines each time.

With eyeliner smudging and my eyes always 'eating' the eyeliner, I'm really serious about finding the perfect one. I stumbled upon this and bought it right away after testing. I tried rubbing it off on the back of my hand to see if it would come off... and it didn't budge at all! Of course, it might be a bit different when applied on the eyes with makeup, but wow, I've never seen anything like this before! How could there be any downsides? Oh wait, there is one. There was no stock at my local store, so I had to go to a larger Daiso near my workplace. I quickly grabbed the last one they had left. I've never seen it at the Daiso near my home... This product is essentially identical to the original Merzy eyeliner. No noticeable differences. The staying power was impressive, with no smudging or other issues. Definitely worth the money spent on this nice eyeliner. The red case is an interesting choice... Though I suppose it makes it easier to spot on your vanity.
